here i am bringing "dynamite," back. >> right new, this is going to be your drive through san jose. on 87. beyond julian street. southbound traffic is not existent. we have an accident in san jose. that is ahead but first, the bay bridge toll plaza with a few cars from the east bay but no problems to get started. preeing news, police in hayward are accepting for the driver involved in a wild chase that ended with a crash into a power pole. amy hollyfield is at the scene and what pg&e is doing. >> the man trying to get away had a woman and a child in the car with him and he crashed 9 car into the power pole you can see hype me and pg&e is trying to repair it. police have shut down this part of the road in hair at ruus road. the area has been closed for a

while as they work on the damaged power people starting before 1:00 o'clock in in the morning when the c.h.p. pulled this man over for a minor traffic violation were he took off. they do not know why he ran but he pled and crashed soon after that incident. there was a woman if her 20 in the car and a child. they do not know how old the child is but younger than ten a girl they were still in the car. rather than chasing the man they decided to tend to the woman and the child and help them out so they got them taken care of and sent to the hospital. they have minor injuries. mostly precautionary they took them to the hospital. they are going to be okay. they do not know the relation between the woman and the child and the man but the man, still is missing. he escaped. they are looking for him they have not said what he was wanted for on why he ran.

we are at at ruus in hayward. the road will probably be closed until 9:00. it was quite a crash. you can see a pole. look at the car: severely damaged with a woman and child inside the vehicle. the man who was driving the vehicle jumped out and ran away and left them behind. c.h.p. officers arrived they had a choice: they decided not to chase him but to attend to the novembers. they are okay and were taken away to be treated but officers say it was a precautionary measure. this is right before 1:00 o'clock this morning and they pulled him over for a minor traffic violation at 80 in hayward and he pled and crashed. he is still on run. he escaped. this knocked out power to the area at 121 customers impacted and they think the power will be out for the day. they are thing it will not be
