traveling through san rafael, you can see there are a few tail lights building as you make it closer to 580 northbound traffic is light and we do not have any problems in that area as we take you to san jose that is 87 beyond the tank traffic is quiet and moving along at top speeds with no accidents to get us congress so far. we start off with breaking news in berkeley, a shooting sends to people to the hospital and shots were almost fired in an apartment complex. our reporter joins us with the breaking details. police are still here on the scene working on their investigation and they have proposed off the area at shattuck in berkeley and notice the markings in the street, police say though are not sure yet if every marking is a bullet or some represent fragments but it appears that several bullets were fired here in this area. look at the video the car that

the victims were in. we asked if the victims returned fire because we see so many casings but the sanctionent did -- sergeant didn't want to comment. there were two men in their 20 were shot. they were taken to the hospital but it appears they were going to survive the attack. no arrests have been made. they do not have a description of the suspect vehicle. they have not been able to give us that. this is still under investigation. also, no motive. we do understand the public information officer is on the way to the scene and we expect to get briefed here any minute. stay with us as we follow this developing story. a lighter note, happening today in san francisco the boys of summer are back to begin defending their world series crown before hometown fans.

our reporter is at at&t park with a look ahead at the giants home opener. >> i have to say i forgot to where my giants gear but this jacket qualifies for orange so i am told and this is a long-awaited game and giants fans very excited as you can imagine. this is as quiet as it is going to be all day fans will walk in seeing the 2014 championship flag flying over the park and crews have been making sure everything inside at&t park is ready to go not to mention there is plenty of giants gear for the fans. there will be a lot of orange and black all over san francisco and the pay area for that matter as the crowds pour if later today. we met loyal fans would drive from all over none california making the journey to be here and of course we met people would have been going to every home game since 1980 for decades.

today. the 23-year-old is due in court to enter a plea. he stole a cash box from girl scouts shing cookies on february 23. he was seen driving and returned the cash. >> a journalist being held in iran for spying will stand trial. jason has been in jail in iran for nine months working for the "washington post" when he was arrested in july on unspecified allegations. it took four months for a judge to hear the charges against him and now the chief judge in iran said he will be tried on espionage. the "washington post" called the alleges absurd. the city of santa cruz will take the next step to enforcing some of toughest water restrictions in the state this week.
