my heart goes tout their families. it's hard to see something like that. are. >> an ocean recovery effort underway after four people fishing off the marin county coates never returned. i'm katie marzullo. we begin with developing news on the fishing boat crash. four people left bodega bay yesterday to go fishing. when they didn't return home the search began. sky 7hd was over the search site. 12 hours later rescue cries found a wrecked boat and two bodies. cornell bernard is there live where the recovery effort

continues. cornell? >> reporter: the coast guard tells me the search has been slowed considerably tonight due to all this heavy fog moving onshore at point reyes. and hope is fading the two missing boaters will be found alive. a sheriffs helicopter is assisting the u.s. coast guard in the search for survivors of 0 boat accident off point reyes. >> right now we're actually continuing to search for two other people. >> reporter: but two others on the 21-foot pleasure craft did not survive. sky 7hd was over the wreckage of the boat near the rocks off tomales point. a debris field nearby and on shore. search crews riding jet skis searched the water for two missing passengers onboard. >> the coast guard says the group left bodega bay friday morning for a salmon fishing trip bud did not return bit nightfall. family members called 9-1-1. >> i started up the trail here, and started seeing helicopters

flying along the coast. real low. >> reporter: this hiker watched the grim recovery mission unfold. >> my heart goings out to their families. it's a really hard to see michigan like that. >> reporter: the coast guard issued a warning to boater on friday for rough seas along the coast, urging vessels to use caution and passengers to wear a life vest. >> if you're going to go out check the weather wear a life jacket. >> a life vest was sported on shore near the wreckage today. the cause of the tragedy is under investigation. abc7 news. >> details, the body of an antioch man has been recovered. six days after he was thrown from his motorcycle and fell off the antioch bring. the contra costa county sheriff's office said a family member found the body. the motorcycle crashed into a car and he fell 135 feet into

the river last sunday. an ac transit bus hit and critically injured a pedestrian last night. it happened on martin luther king jr. way near 36th 36th street. no word if the victim was in a crosswalk. developing news now in the california drought. new water rules are out today. the state water resources control board released new lower targets this morning. they're in response to criticisms from cities that said earlier cutback mandates were unrealistic and unfair. the new rules recommend nine categories of cuts, ranging from four percent to 36 percent. previously the water board divide cities into four tiers issue setting goals only water reduction from 20 to 45% and communities that use the most water targeted for the proposed cut. the proposal is to reduce wait use by 25% a goal issued by governor brown. san francisco fire investigators believe a

cigarette butt left in a bolted plant on a ball con sparked a knob hill apartment fire this morning. firefighters arrived to find flames on the balcony and the back of the apartment. they cut a hole in the attic for ventilation and quickly knocked down the fire. >> we woke just in time. if we didn't wake up it would have quickly, within to minutes burned the whole apartment down but we caught it in time to not allow the fire to come into our living area. >> no one was hurt. it is time to talk warriors. a nerve-racking game one win today but a one nonetheless. we have live teach coverage and binge with larry beil. >> this was the cakewalk that then turned into the nail-biter down the stretch. the warriors were cruising to victory, up 25 only to see new orleans, the pelicans, storm

>> cell phone video of the gasline explosion at the fresno county sheriffs gun range on friday. the blast sent 11 people to the hospital. four of them were released today. two are still in critical condition. pg&e says an equipment operator was building a dirt berm to confine gunfire to the range but they were not notified of any work in the area to mark off gaslines. a gathering in san francisco early this morning to honor the victims and survivors of the 1906 earthquake. >> ♪ >> the group observed a moment of silence 5:12 am, the exact moment the quake hit 109 years ago today. it's also tradition to spray gold paint at a fire hydrant in the mission district. this hydrant was the only functioning source of water in that area that day.

region. generally falling into the upper 40s and lower 50s overnight. so satellite and radar take a look at this you. see this spin off the coast. watch that right there that's an area of low pressure in the atmosphere that will help to deepen our marine layer. looking at the forecast widespread fog by 11:00 tonight, and that fog will be dense throughout the early morning hours. it's not until 11:00 sunday that the fog moves out of the bay but still it's going to hug the coast late into the morning. that means if you are going the half moon bay triathlon tomorrow, dense fog early on from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. a gray start. by 9:00, we may see peeks of sunshine. by 11:00 a.m., still rather cool temperatures only in the lower 50s. so highs for sunday similar to tonight. 79 for san jose. 74 sunny veil. 76 cupertino. 68, the high, san mateo. along the coast, the fog sticks with souse only in the throw
