francisco bay. some cities have had fog all day but otherwise a dry weekend. abc7 news meteorologist drew tuma has a look at the changes coming up with live doppler 7hd. >> very summer-like pattern. the east bay hills camera showing you the fog is making a return and tomorrow morning you're going to wake up to pockets of dense fog across the region. the fog certainly had a big hold on temperatures along the coast. half moon bay 57. compared to clear lake, 90 degrees this afternoon. there has been a 33-degree spread in our afternoon highs across the region. mother nature gaving us a more spring-like pattern. >> in southern california cooler temperatures and low winds are helping fire crews attack a fast-moveing wildfire.

the fire has grown to near lay thousand acres since it started last night. it is 25% contained right now. no property damage or injuries have been reported. the cause of the fire is under investigation. expect a traffic nightmare in san francisco during tomorrow's evening commute because of an unofficial marijuana celebration. 420 day happens every year on april 20th at hippie hill in golden gate park. the giant pot party is not legal, nor permit. but last year 15,000 people came from around the world. in the past, city employs have turned a blind eye as long as things stayed peaceful but during the 2014 celebration there was a shooting and streets were closed because there were so many people. so this year there will be a heavy police presence. >> we will have juvenile probation out we'll have people undercover out because we won't tolerate underage drinking and other things that sadly have happened with people under the

gay was a swear word and at one point the voice called him rude. apple fixed the problem a couple day after the video posted. the company blames a bug in the russian siri program. federal authorities are on the lookout for people who abducted a sea lion pup from a beach in los angeles. four people were at the state beach when witnesses say they threw a blanket on the pup, wrapped it up and ran off with it. the pup's estimated to be about ten months old, 25 pounds, another pub -- pup managed managed to escape into the water. wildlife expecter says the sea low yoenis danger if not properly cared for. the drought could be to blame for the decline of a protected california fish. stockton newspaper reports state officials found just one delta smelt during its latest survey. three years ago, they counted 143. wildlife and agriculture officials sigh the smelt population as a measure of

a ninth grader from california is the winner of a national essay contest. we were at at&t park when the san francisco giants honored kayla savory for winning the breaking barriers cop test. the contest honors hall of fame baseball player jackie robinson's legacy by educating young students about his life. she met with robinson's daughter and won the grand prize out of 126,000 essays nationwide. >> this is truly amazing. i feel really great and was surprised this happened. i didn't expect to win. it's just a amazing feeling. >> as part of her wings she got to bring 50 friends and family members to today's game. she also received a laptop and will go to this year's world series. congratulations, kayla. well done. over to drew now and a check of the forecast. exciting news. i'm not going to overhype it. when i heard the word rain --
