information management as well as financial resources. >> reporter: thousands of residents over there have been left homeless. they need the basic supplies that you mentioned. but that doesn't necessarily mean you want people to go out and buy tents and supplies and drop them off. >> that's correct. take a 2 dollars bottle of water, pack it and ship it and transport it, it's going to cost us $22. we could take that $22 and in country buy 50 bottles of water and get the relief there quicker and stimulate the economy. >> whether someone wants to donate to the american red cross or some other organization it's important for people to do their home work and make sure that's legitimate. >> that's correct. thank sure they're an accredited charity. the american red cross has been in countries since '9. we know the community and the culture. it's important to make sure that the charity is in the country

this morning. we want to go to fresno and show you details of what's happening now with this fire at a pg and e power pole yard. you see things are blazing away there. broke out earlier this morning. the power poles on fire. our reporter on the scene says a lack of firefight equipment fire hay drants and winds are making the fire difficult to fight. it broke out around 4:00 this morning. you'll want to stay with us for more on the breaking story and get instant upcates by following us on twitter. and new this morning firefighters are looking into the cause of a one-alarm warehouse fire. it broke out in the area of 89 avenue. crews have it knocked down and they're keeping an eye out for hot spots. officials say there was a marijuana grow operation inside the warehouse. no one was there when fire crews got on the scene.

investigators have not said what started the fire. men low park police are searching for the last of three home invasion suspects still on the lose at a chase exchange exchange. >> reporter: men low mark police are reassuring residents saying that third suspect may not be in the area anywhere. so people should not be alarmed. this started in fremont as a home invasion robbery. they were chasing three men. and the chase went into men low park. this was around 5:00 yesterday afternoon. the suspects ditched their car and took off on foot. police ran after them that's when the suspects opened fire. >> one of the individuals pulled a firearm, fired at our officer.

actually striking the newark police vehicle. one of the suspects continued firing. initially was able to free and a large perimeter was accomplished by several police agencies. >> reporter: they caught two of the men and recovered their guns. but they're still looking for a third. it was an intense search last night. even checking out a vacant home to see if he there. no luck. but now they have information that suggests that he's left the area. the search continues. no one was hurt in what police are describing as a violent event. reporting live, amy hollyfield. >> the family of a nine-year-old boy stabbed to death in his home is expected to speak out for the first time. the suspect 18-year-old william schultz faced arraignment yesterday. a judge ordered him to return to court in three week to enter a play. his attorney said schultz' family repeatedly tried to get

him psychological help pe e he's admitted to killing the nine-year-old on sunday. the victim was the younger brother of schultz's best friend. and attorney for the family says they were unaware of any possible mental health issues when they invited schultz to sleep over the night of the murder. in morning livermore police are looking for a suspect in a sexual assault. it happened on tuesday evening in south livermore. a 29-year-old woman was just walking on the trail when she was attracted. >> the suspect came at her from behind hen a was able to grab her. >> i am really disturbed that this happens in you know, at a time frame when a lot of people are on the trail. >> this suspect is described as a white man in his mid 30s, eight 5'10" to 6 feet tall weighing 180 to 190 pounds. he's unshaven with dark eyebrows and was wearing a dark hooded long sleeve sweatshirt and dark colored baggy sweatpants.

it's the fourth attack in the trail in just the past three years. 5:34 now. in nepal rescuers pulled a teenager out of the rubble of a building that collapsed on sunday. he was carrys out on a stretcher, his face still covered in dust in front of a cheering crowd. they worked for several hours to free the boy. the police officer who crawled into a gap to reach the teen said he was surprisingly responsive. the death toll in the nepal earthquake now stands at 5500 with more than 11,000 injured. the aftershocks in the meantime continue. more than 70 shakers stronger than magnitude 3.2 have been recorded in the himalayan region since saturday's quake. five search and rescue dogs trained in gill rye are on their way to nepal to look for survivors. >> tonight a candle light vigil will be held in fremont to show

e right now we want to take another look at our fresno breaking news story there. you see all of the flames and the smoke. well that is a major fire burning right now in the northwest part of that city. sit a pg&e power poles' yards. and you can see there's a lack of fire hydrants there and there are some light winds. all of that making the fire very difficult to fight for our firefighters. broke out at 4:00 this morning along highway 99. good news is we're getting words, leyla found out that there is no evacuation in that area right now. but this fire is still very much burning. we'll continue to follow the breaking news story for you. the food and drug administration has approved a new drug that promises to get rid of double chins without surgery rm yeah, that drug is
