unanimously declared the winner. there were questions about whether it was a fair fight. pacquiao says he was denied treatment for injury just moments before getting into the ring. >> there was controversy. mayweather escorted by justin bieber and pacquiao escorted by jimmy kimmel dressed up as bieber. >> a bit of a spectacle there. and this morning, abc's t.j. holmes is covering all angles of the so-called fight of the century. hi, t.j. >> good morning guys. we waited five years for that. yes, we waited five years and here we are a few hours after the fight. look at this. they're on to something else. the cleaning crew already here getting this place cleaned up for the next event and moved on to the next thing. but there are going to be some lingering questions and some doubts. we waited all this hype and all this money for what we saw last night? this so called really event of a lifetime? >> strap me in.

>> reporter: before the judges' unanimous decision was announced floyd mayweather declared the victory. turns out manny pacquiao stepped into the ring saturday night injured. >> two weeks i didn't, you know, train good. i couldn't use my right hand. >> reporter: in the post fight press conference, he revealed he had a shoulder injury that kept him from training for two weeks and was denied use of a legal drug treatment by the nevada athletic commission just before the fight. >> the commission was well aware manny had a shoulder injury. >> reporter: but maywit shot down any suggestion that injury had an impact of him winning the fight. >> both of my arms was injured but like i said before, i will always fight a way to win. >> reporter: the fight was one sided. a blowout on the judges' score cards. fans underwhelmed. mike tyson tweeting we waited five years for that.

#underwhelmed. sportscaster jim cray called the fight a success. >> the fighting was right. the refereeing was right. left with no controversies. >> reporter: the third man in the ring also on his "a" game. >> i got to be prepared and come in with my "a" game. >> reporter: fans waited five years for the two to get into a ring. but had to wait longer. the fight delayed 45 minutes because the pay per view system crashed. there was no delay for mayweather's pay day. >> do you have the $100 million check on you right now? >> let me see the bad boy. yeah, that's the real deal. >> that's just the first installment of what could be a $200 million pay day. now, mayweather in the post fight press conference said the goal of the evening was a nine figure payday. he got that. that was the first installment. but right now, there's no question he's probably going to make upwards of $200 million for the fight.

you this is it actually the tourist side of kensington palace. the royal families come in and out. we have heard that prince charles and camilla have come. and the backside we just heard also the two members of the middleton family have come. kate's mother and her sister, pippa, they are now inside. this is the sunday times. look at that beautiful little girl. she does not have a name yet but that could be coming as early as this afternoon. and look how beautiful the clothes are. overnight a royal celebration fit for a storybook. prince william and princess kate expanding their family for the second time in less than two years. their newest crowned jewel, a baby girl. >> a princess is fourth in line to the throne! >> reporter: an excited big brother george shyly waving to the crowd as dad carries him

inside to meet his sister for the first time. the loyal and royal fans waiting patiently outside the hospital to get a glimpse of the new people's princess and their future queen kate. >> our princess has given birth to a little girl. so we have a princess. completed their family. >> history, isn't it? it's very, very exciting. >> reporter: after deliver lg less than ten hours earlier, kate showing off her sleeping cutie in front of the lindo wing beaming with pride and glowing with the help of a stylist. a flashback reminiscent of royal siblings that came before her. a young prince william visiting his mother to meet his baby brother harry in 1984. the nation welcoming the eagerly awaited young princess. london wearing head to toe pink and the queen following suit. now the kingdom awaits one last thing. >> alice is the red hot favorite at 6-4. >> i see diana is one of the

favorites. there's a lot of speculation about alice and charlotte. we're hoping diana will be in there. perhaps one of the names. >> reporter: a name for her royal highness, the princess of cambridge. now we're also hearing this morning that we could actually be having some news that it's possible this baby is going to get a name maybe even this afternoon it will be announced. i mean, look at this. it's not cheap to have a child. this little shawl right here, i have been told it's about 68 pounds, about $102. i know you just had a baby. not too long ago. i hope you're not paying this much. >> that's the point of a baby registry, bob. >> his wife is paying that much. >> something like that. let's skip the math. bob, thank you very much. we appreciate it. i don't know what's more impressive, how beautiful the mom looked or how good the kid looked so quickly after delivery. >> i think both. >> ya they are both amazing.

both adorable. i just want to pinch those little cheeks. >> let's bring in the bbc's royals correspondent. louisa, you have been through this before. you covered the birth of george two years ago. what happens next? >> i was expecting that the queen would be heading to kensington palace at some stage to meet her newest great grandchild. but we've actually heard that the queen has gone to her country estate out in norfolk and we know that kate and will will be headed there as well. because that is really their main residence now. so it seems that that is where the queen is going to be meeting this little princess and that means that we may have a little bit of a wait for the name if things play out the same way as they did after prince george's birth because that time around, kate and will waited until after the queen had met george to announce his name. who knows when they're going to head out to norfolk and when we're going to get the name. >> all right, louisa back to

you in a moment. i think that woe were so shocked that she left the hospital the same day. we want to bring in dr. jen ashton. what are the issues you're looking for after delivery and is it safe to leave the hospital? >> remember, she also had full hair and makeup. that's not normally part of what we do in this country. remember there are two patients, obstetrics. mother and baby. for the mom we're looking at vital signs, her blood pressure, temperature, breathing. and for the baby, similar things. is the baby breathing okay? is the circulation good and does the baby have signs of infection? this may be a new land-speed record. >> you delivered 1,500 babies. i'm not sure you ever seen a mother look that good after. >> i have not. not usually. it is a testimony to just how tough women are. >> that's right. >> i've seen women look that good. paula faris, my wife. you. >> you have seen me after birth. >> well, i have seen pictures. i have spoken to your husband about it. you said it's not uncommon for people to leave the hospital this quickly in the uk. >> it's common. if everything is well with mother and baby and if baby is feeding well, it's perfectly

normal. having said that, i know it's normal in the public hospitals because they don't want moms bed blocking, but if you're private you may think you might want your money's worth and get a decent night's sleep because the nurses will take the baby away and let you rest. but this is typical, i think, of kate and will. they want no fuss. they want to be able to do things themselves if they can. and so they preferred to head home. >> i suspect they have got plenty of staff at home as well. >> they do. >> thank you very much. we appreciate it. dr. ashton you as well. we're going to move on now to the latest in baltimore. it has been a weekend of largely peaceful and sell bra gathering in a city over the case of freddie gray the man who died after being in police custody. so many questions. will the charges against the six officers stick. if not, will there be more unrest down the road? here's abc's jim avila. >> reporter: a new round of arrests in baltimore. protesters defying a fifth night

of citywide curfew, pepper spray by police. but largely saturday baltimore taking on a striking new tone. >> people are really coming together in amazing ways. >> reporter: hundreds of peaceful protesters marched towards the civic plaza in front of city hall. many of them advocating peace. >> it was like celebratory. because i guess they finally seen some justice. >> reporter: in a briefing overnight, the police commissioner says it's in the hands of the state's attorney. >> we have the confidence that the truth will come out and overcome. >> reporter: these are the officers charged in the death of freddie gray. the driver of this police van, 45-year-old caesar goodson jr. faces a possible charge of murder. he's been a baltimore cop for 16 years. officers garrett miller and edward nero. both in their 20s. and brian rice, a 17-year veteran. all seen here carrying gray to that van. each face several charges as well. officer william porter and

sergeant alicia white who was just promoted face charges of involuntary manslaughter and both accused of not giving gray medical attention. the police commissioner saying he is letting the process take its course but warning -- >> we have no tolerance for any misconduct that takes place in this organization. >> reporter: authorities are waiting to make sure the city is safe and secure before they lift the curfew and until then, the national guard will remain here, dan. >> jim avila who has been on the story from the very beginning, jim, thank you. for more on this, let's bring in abc's george stephanopoulos. who will be hosting "this week." george, good morning. we have seen a series of these cases. as you know. is there any possibility it will lead to policy change? >> well, that's the big question right now. you have seen the federal government get involved and put in money for body cameras. all across the country. some police forces accepting that. one of the things you're looking at all these cities do they have to step back from the broken window's policing policy

which relies on picking up a lot of people out on the streets for relatively minor infractions. people call that a corruption of that policing strategy. more of an emphasis on dialogue? >> so much tension between the police and communities. in so many parts of this country. i want to switch gears to bridgegate. let's talk about chris christie. two top aids indicted and another one pleading guiltiy in bridgegate. two headlines from the new york city times. christie's camp mobilizes to salvage white house hoax and politico. jeb's secret jersey mission. going behind enemy lines to pick off chris christie supporters. so how bad is this situation? >> good news/bad news. the prosecutors found no ef dense that he ordered the closers, no evidence that he knew about them. although the lawyer says that there is some evidence out there. that's the good news so far for chris christie.

the challenges that lay ahead for siblings like the new baby princess coming up later. starting with the millionaire who is on trial for a third time for killing his wife. >> the case against cal harris accused of murdering his wife back in 2001 has been heard by three separate juries and the deliberations are happening now. abc's matt gutman is on the case. >> reporter: this morning cal harris is fighting for his life for the third time. the father of four accused of murdering his wife michelle on a night most families were huddled together. september 11, 2001. >> did you kill michelle? >> absolutely not. absolutely not. >> two juries have found you guilty. >> two juror -- juries that haven't gotten all the information. >> forensics teams found blood spatter from michelle in the house and witnesses saying he had threatened her. leading prosecutors to conclude

harris murdered her somewhere on the family's 252 acre new york estate. in 2007 a jury found him guilty of second-degree murder. before he could be sentenced a new witness came forward with new information claiming to have seen michelle arguing with a man that was not her husband the day she disappeared leading the judge to throw out the guilty verdict. in a new trial in 2009, harris was found guilty again and shockingly that conviction was overturned by an appeals court. we interviewed harris this past january on the eve of his third trial. >> from the indictment to the first and second trial here we sit having to face another trial. no one should have to go through this. no one. >> his children now 14 years without their mother standing firm with their father. >> we don't have any doubt he wasn't involved. >> now after 12 weeks of trial a jury could decide his fate as
