justice. friends, family neighbors and strangers gathered at the crash site some cried. others offered comfort and words of condolence. this happened last night saturday evening just before 7:00 p.m. an out-of-control corvette crashed into an apartment on livermore and mother and her 14-month-old child were killed. the driver was speeding and was drinking. this woman found her aunt and child on the ground moments after being run over. >> i hope forever. forever. i hope we get justice. for everything that happened. ♪ amazing

>> police say the suspect, 35-year-old brian jones was at the livermore wine country festival before the crash. he was arrested and faces vehicular manslaughter and d.u.i. charges. the family has set up a go fund me page to raise money for funeral costs. happening today oakland mayor schaaf will present the first proposed city budget. it is heavy on public safety. she will present the plan to the oakland city council and helps to increase the number of police officers by 40 bringing the number of officers to 762 the next two years the high e we level sin 2010. it is estimated the extra officers will cost oakland $7 million starting next year. >> the warriors and the newly crowned mvp are back in action for game two of the western conference semifinals. they are ready. amy hollyfield is at the arena

heard someone in the backyard. >> a short time later three were it is were rounded up and handcuffed and taken and police custody. it is now 4:36. palo alto police are searching for a man who is responsible for at least five thefts in one night in one neighborhood. all of the crimes happened late thursday night and early friday morning in the college terrace area and the group was call on surveillace camera at a home and the homeowner turned the video over to police when neighbors talked of the thefts. nothing was taken over this home but the thief took computers and bicycles and power tools from other homes. some of the items were taken from garages and cars that were left unlooked. >> so many big lands, so little space, the mountain view city council will look how to divide it up among the biggest name. google will build a series of domed work places. mountain view planners believe google should cut the proposal by 70 percent.
