say it shows san jose police officers going too far. >> san jose police identify the man being arrested as 22-year-old juan lopez. the video was posted on sunday, may 3. this happened the night before at 8:45. lopez was walking and two officers approached him and he ran into the middle of the intersection and turned toward them and attack an officer with a battle and engaged both officers in a fight the officers caused for help. more officers arrived in the video. you can see the officers striking lopez. san jose police say lopez continued to resist even after being handcuff asked they put him in a restraint, and took him to the hospital in an ambulance for medical clear an. lopez was then booked into the santa clara jail for assault with a deadly weapon, resisting a arrest being under the influence of a zip laboratory, possession of methamphetamine and destruction of evidence.

on facebook many said the police went too far during the arrest. anyone with information on this case is asked to call the san jose police department assault unit. gilroy police are investigating after a teenager shot herself accidental with a gun own by an officer yesterday afternoon. at a home. the girl and the officer are related. that is all the investigators will reveal saying the girl shot herself in the leg and is recovering. there is no word open if it was the officer's service weapon or a privately owned gun. >> a suspected drunk driver will appear in court today accused of killing a mother and her baby daughter while at a family party in livermore. police believe that brian jones lost control of his speeding corvette open -- on saturday evening. the car jump add car and plowed into the backyard of two apartments. esperanza morales and her 14 month other guild juli, died

"consumer reports" has other useful tips for redeeming miles. >> book several months in advance when there are more award seats available. last minute searches can also work because people change their plans. >> if you hope to travel overseas and this is no award seats available on the united states carrier check their foreign partners. you could be able to get one of their award seats. friendship, american partners include british airways, delta has air san francisco, and united has lufthansa. >> do not jump on any free seat. don't case your miles on a cheap threat. >> divide the price of the ticket by the number of miles you spend if the result is less than a penny you are better off paying cash. if you are short miles for a trip do not buy them. they are not a bargain.

>> happening today a suspected drunk driver is set to face a judge on charges of running over and killing a mother and her baby daughter in livermore. the victims were visiting other family members at the livermore apartment the day of the deadly crash. loved ones say they have in words for the driver. they only want justice. friends, family, neighbors even strangers, gathered at crash site yesterday. some c.i.a.d. others offered comfort. saturday evening, before 7:00 an out-of-control corvette crashed into an apartment on livermore and esperanza morales and her 14-month-old little girl juli, were killed. two others were hurt. the driver was speeding and was drinking. a woman found her aunt and her daughter on the ground moments after being run over.
