oakland city council meeting last night. they were there to demonstrate plans to develop a housing complex. the issue is over a vacant lot on 12th street. the city council was going to vote on whether to sell the land to developers. it got loud. but stayed peaceful. >> as far as crowds this is the more peaceful crowd. >> it is illegal but it is very nonviolent. we just want to make sure our voice is heard. >> no one was arrested. the vote has been delayed. protesters argue that plans for the new condos add to the economic issues that push out long-time resident whose can no longer afford to live in oakland of the group finally wrapped it up at 9:00 and organizers say they might use this tactic again in the future. happening today, hillary clinton is in the bay area for two fundraising events both for the presidential candidates are private.

police say they have no suspects and the stabbing was not related to the game which by the way, the giants won 6-0. >> bicyclist hit by a car in danville has died. the accident happened at the intersection of crow canyon road late yesterday afternoon. the victim is a 55-year-old danville man. the driver is cooperating. >> the state water resources board approved sweeping new water restrictions for all of california. starting in june, water reduction will have to be cut by 25 percent. water regulators approached the emergency orders last night. cities will have to limit watering on public property. homeowners are encouraged to let their lawns die. experts say that is the single most important step in saving water. local water agencies can immoment other specific cuts. governor brown wants fines up to $10,000 for the biggest water wasters. the plan still knees managementive approval. the governor will talk of
