frustrating commute yesterday after long delays and a power outages. amy hollyfield is at san francisco's glen park bart station. how is it going amy? >> it is going smoothly. riders say they are feeling very grateful for bart this morning and you really missed it when it is gone. bart had to single track through san francisco for most of the day year because of a mechanical issue. this created all sorts of problems and not just on bart as people tried muni trains and buses and they found there was a lot of confusion and long lines as well. people say necessity does -- say they did what they could. >> it is great to live in a connected world where you can sit at your office and someone e-mails you may want do leave early there are problems with bart. that is what i did.

identify sexual predator that has struck twice. this surveillance video from the latest attack on tuesday at a home in west san jose. a man followed a 13-year-old girl home from school and he pushed his way into her home before trying to sexually assault her. the girl fought back and the man left a few moments later. it was captured on the home surveillance video. he was gone by the time the police arrived. the same man attack add woman at a market last month on saratoga avenue. he followed a 28-year-old woman into the restroom. he tried to assault her. she fought back. matt keller will have a report next half hour. >> police are depending on social media to fine the suspect before there is another attack. we have the photos of the man on facebook. you can share that post and help spread the word. >> happening today one of the men would brutally beat san francisco giants fan bryan stow

the low is still making the trip down to the south and to the west and it is bringing it in an unstable air mass with it, and a cold core that has moisture that will sit on top of a warm ground this afternoon and that is why we will see a better chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms starring to develop around noon. and backing their way from the east bay to the south bay. it does not mean that one or two may not develop but this is where the model thinks we will have the best chance of seeing those. overnight they fall apart and tomorrow we will put the north bay back in play with a chance of a scattered showers or thunderstorm. my seven-day outlook shows steady temperatures today and tomorrow and with more sunshine on saturday and warmest day is mother's day on sunday a dry cold front and cooler for monday, tuesday, and women. >> it look like our driver, tom in mobile 360 managed to emerge from the traffic in east palo alto relatively unscathe asked now we are heading into redwood
