careful. it will train over this same area for the next 45 minutes to half an hour or so. as the low continues to back its way toward us, we can see it on the visible satellite and notice that it opens up the clouds, and when the sunshine hits the ground the air is buoyant and more clouds start to develop and that is exactly what is going to happen. sonoma county and marin county is where the next bit of energy will come sliding down so any of us could get a scattered shower or thunderstorm this afternoon. here is a look at the snow in the sierra a little too late. but we will take it and it will keep everything wet for another week or so. from our east bay hills camera we do not quite have the vertical development we would like and we will not until we get more heat in the air. we go for scattered showers and storms and today and lesser extent tomorrow and could be thunder in the sierra so it could be heavy and mild weather for mother's day.
11:21 am
now, temperature-wise, we will hang out in the upper 60 to low 70s in the south bay and upper 60s to nearly 70s on the peninsula and nearly 60 loan the coast and mid-60s downtown and south san francisco and sausalito. and upper 60 near 70 along the east bay shore and low-to-mid 70s inland east bay. if you are going to the game tonight, i don't think the shower is going to be a big sure, 61 and dropping to develop. the marlins are in town to take on giants. notice how much quieter it is overnight with the low backing toward us that is the core of the unstable air and as long as it is close enough to us and rotates the bits of energy back to us, we have a chance of a scattered shower or thunderstorm with small hail and light rain. the best chance will be in the east bay and across the south bay but, again, it could happen anywhere. tomorrow our best chance is across the north because but it is a smaller chance than this afternoon.
11:22 am
on saturday we see more sunshine and temperatures the same as today and warmer for moms as we hit 60 at the coast and low-to-upper 70s elsewhere and a dry cold front drops us back a little bit monday and tuesday and wednesday next week. an interesting morning but not a tremendously active afternoon. >> tonight a snow may county man is accused of taking money to people who came to him from help calling himself a doctor and offers treatment services throughout the bay area. >> when he got my money it was, like, i didn't exist. he has no soul. he has no morals no nothing. this is all about money. >> the investigation of the doctor's background and the facilities being run is the report tonight at 11 o'clock. >> there are so many ways to treat moms to mother's day, right? >> yes and our reporter has some suggestions on how can explore whereou live.

i'm brian vickers, nascar® driver. i'm kevin nealon comedian. and i'm arnold palmer, professional golfer. know what we have in common? we talked to our doctors about treatment with xarelto®. me, when i had a blood clot in my leg that could have traveled to my lungs. that's why i took xarelto®, too. xarelto® is proven to treat and help reduce the risk of dvt and pe blood clots. i took xarelto® for afib... an irregular heartbeat that can lead to a stroke from a blood clot. xarelto® is proven to reduce the risk of stroke in people with afib, not caused by a heart valve problem. hey, well i'm glad we got together. for people with afib currently well managed on warfarin there is limited information on how xarelto® and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. i tried warfarin before, but the blood testing routine and dietary restrictions had me off my game. tell me about it. let's see, golf clinic, or blood clinic? ooh, that's a tough one. not this time. not with xarelto®. anything else? i'll have another arnold palmer. ok. make mine a kevin nealon.
11:29 am
really, brian? hey, safety first. like all blood thinners, don't stop taking xarelto® without talking to your doctor as this may increase your risk of a blood clot or stroke. while taking xarelto® you may bruise more easily and it may take longer for bleeding to stop. xarelto® may increase your risk of bleeding if you take certain medicines. xarelto® can cause serious bleeding and in rare cases may be fatal. get help right away if you develop unexpected bleeding unusual bruising, or tingling. if you have had spinal anesthesia while on xarelto® watch for back pain or any nerve or muscle-related signs or symptoms. do not take xarelto® if you have an artificial heart valve, or abnormal bleeding. tell your doctor before all planned medical or dental procedures. before starting xarelto® tell your doctor about any conditions such as kidney, liver, or bleeding problems. xarelto® has been prescribed more than 11 million times in the u.s. and that number'scores. with xarelto® there is no regular blood monitoring, and no known dietary restrictions. treatment with xarelto® was the right move for us. ask your doctor about xarelto®. you may be able to get up to 12 months at no cost.
