around it on the outside. multivortex tornado on the inside. >> the plains the problem is these storms spawning tornadoes. this one is in dutton texas. 1 of 3 in northern texas. heavy rain lightning, and hail also. at least one person was injured by the weather. the lightning from the storms is being blamed for that gas explosion. it was at a gas well. the service road nearby had to close just to keep things safe. firefighters say they had to let the blaze burn its out. the west coast, much-needed moisture to california. rain as we're seeing here this the central valley. also hail strong winds in the fresno area. some roads were closed temporarily because of flooding. some snow in the higher elevations. we'll look that later on in this half hour. meanwhile, tom brady stepped out in public last night for the

career. >> reporter: his agent on the offensive. accusing the nfl of a sting operation against the patriots and brady. what does it say about the league when it allows one team to tip it off to an issue and no league officials or game officials notified the patriots? but the report states there was no sting. no change in inspection protocols. the report implicating brady is more likely than not aware of deflated balls, quoting text messages from an annoyed locker room attendant to an person. tom brady said he didn't have a reaction to the report. he hasn't had time to fully digest it. when he does he'll be sure to let us know how he files. loretta lynch, the attorney general, may be ready to launch

an investigation into the baltimore police department. they'll look into whether the police department has engaged in a pattern of practice of discrimination. president obama is on a road trip. waking up in oregon this morning. he delivers a speech on free trade at nike head quarters. then he travels to south dakota making his first visit to the state as a president. he becomes the fourth president to vid all 50 states while in office. an 11-year-old rebecca wrote him and said her heart was broken that he hadn't visited her home state yet. mother's day around the corner. what moms really want on sunday. alarms blaring. thick haze of smoke filling the plane. the passengers talking about the flight. and a bus careens out of control. the driver troszed from the chair. right as it heads toward a train on the tracks.

fire crews spent hours still battling a stubborn brush fire in western new jersey. it broke out yesterday afternoon. flames burned through more than 700 acres of forest land. shutting down roads and prompting evacuations as well. full containment is expected today. north texas hit by an unusually strong earthquake. the 4.0 was centered about 30 miles southwest of dallas. nobody hurt. a sharp increase in the number of earthquakes in the region has been linked to fracing. lumber liquidators is no longer selling lam gnat flooring made in chin nap a report in march said the flooring had toxic levels of formaldehyde.

a train earlier this week. that driver wasn't wearing a seat belt. and the surveillance video explains some of this here. it shows the driver falling from her seat. she did her best making sure the bus didn't hit the train. veering into a meridian instead. a transit authority spokesperson said that that accident might not have happened if she had been wearing that seat belt. the cleveland cavaliers are apologizing for a video shown in wednesday's playoff game. in the video, and you can see it here man drops this woman on the floor because she was wearing a chicago bulls jersey. the team insists it didn't mean to make fun of domestic violence. the video was meant to parody the commercial of the couple reenacting the scene from the movie "dirty dancing." now for sports. details about a baseball milestone this past year? >> are we celebrating it, really? let's get it from our friends at
