7.8 earthquake crumbling buildings and killing 8,000 people. there are reports of several casualties in the latest earthquake that hit this morning. many more are injured. the trimmer measured 7.3 and struck near the chinese border between katmandu and mount everest. after shocks followed rattling an already devastated country trying to recover from the earthquake in april. our reporter is in nepal following the bay area teen helping in the efforts. he said this earthquake was long with residents running into the street screaming, scared they would be hurt. >> people were pour out of their businesses, out of their buildings. there are four to five story buildings this neighborhood and people were staring at the tops of the roof just to make sure they would not tumble over. they were panicked. >> parliament was in session when the earthquake hit.

bringer in the san jose water company unveiled a plan last night that included monthly allotments for customers in san jose, los gatos and saratoga. customers' alleges are based on how much they used in 2013. california public utilities commission still needs to approve the plan. our reporter will have a report with more at the top of the hour. >> the warriors are headed back to the area with another post-season win under their belts evening up the series at 2-2 in memphis last night beating the grizzlies. amy hollyfield is on the embarcadero in san francisco. fans are going wild. became five is tomorrow. >> our city looks like it has some warriors spirit. the embarcadero is lit up in blue and gold after the very important victory. the team made it look easy last night.

phones sold or leased in berkeley. those labels urge people to keep their knowns a certain distance away from their bed. cell phones emit some radiation and it is not determined if they increase the risk of brain cancer. >> very exciting, officials are warning people to expect traffic delays and the bicycle tour of california is here. they will go through san jose and livermore today. 143 of best bicyclists in the whole world are participating in the 10th annual bicycle race. it began on monday in sacramento and moved to the foothills yesterday. today is stage three and the only one in the bay area for this year's race and it began on sunday so this is day three at the community center and ride to livermore and back down to san jose and finishing near the motorcycle park at 3:00 p.m. so want out for traffic around that area. >> and watch out for the weather

at 4:37. mike, what are riders facing? >> plenty of sunshine and a lot of breezes as they head through the higher elevation during the afternoon hours. morning, everyone, we will look at the 24 hour temperature change. everyone is cooler this morning but for novato and santa rosa where the breezes are keeping you four degrees warmer. we will go inland east bay where we have temperatures running in the low 50s out highway 4 and concord at 50 and dublin at 51 and pleasant hill and lafayette and walnut creek and danville and san ramon and blackhawk in the mid-to-upper 40s. 42 is the cool spot in calistoga and cupertino and milpitas at 45 and 48 respectively and otherwise, low-to-mid 50s an the bay shore and to half moon bay. check out the waning crescent moon from the exploritorium. as we head into the afternoon we could have a passing high cloud or two but a lot of sunshine. it will be child by the breezes. temperature are going to fall
