of getting children vaccinated. we are in the newsroom with the details. >> morning, eric. there is no grant but the bill is expected to be voted on today. it would eliminate the personal or religious belief exemption for vaccination so there would be almost no excuse for a child to skip shots for measles whooping cough. california schools in the new version are not required to notify parents of immunization rates. thousands of parents do nut want their kids vaccinate idea tried over and over again to derail the bill. they have held rallies all over the state like this rally in campbell early in the week. they argue that many children would be denied the right to a public education and those who do not get the shots have to be home schooled. the only exception is for

students who have health issues. get ready to share the road today, it is bike to work day. organizers are dangling many enticements to get commuters to ditch the cars and hop on the two wheelers. amy hollyfield is at the golden gate bridge to show us. >> how does a pancake protest fast sound? that will be served in downtown oakland to the bikers with 400 energizer stations. they will be all over the nine bay area counties and expect it to be a busy day serving coffee and food at the stakes and you can enter some raffles. they are doing what they can to encourage biking. in the past years they have counted 100,000 bikers on this day and that is just who stopped to be counted so they think there are more. they estimate it is probably

talk about that. morning, everyone, look at live doppler hd you can see the scattered light showers roaming our sky with the heavier showers still upstream and that happens to be to the southwest as these are rotating toward us. good news is it is humid this morning. more humid than yesterday. we do not have any fog to contend with so sporadic slick spots and the one i have seen the most on our traffic cameras is right now around the richmond-san rafael toll plaza and here is a look at the golden gate bridge it looks fairly dry right now. we will have waves of showers, possible thunder in this afternoon and if you are caught under that you will get more rain. you do not get caught under that, you may not get much rain. cooler tomorrow morning and a little bit of a warming trend this weekend. we will look at today's temperatures and notice along the coast into san francisco mid-50 to upper 50s and everyone else in the low-to-mid 50s and notice the friend is

the nepal military and the international group of military including the united states and a number of other countries including china and india. we know one of the other things that is a big priority is the fact that the united states marine helicopter is still missing. that search is ongoing. we are keeping close tab on that and so far we understand that there has not been a sighting. there have been a lot of local media reports the helicopter has been found and unfortunately a lost those reports, in fact, all of them have so far been proven inaccurate. here in katmandu the capital city the other thing ongoing is a lot of the uncertainty about buildings and hope -- homes and people have decided to live in tents rather than their homes. that continues.
