580 is looking great and when we head over to walnut creek this is barely any traffic and huge gaps northbound between each vehicle. >> new details are gist coming in from the breaking news we have been following in nepal. crews have found the wreckage of a united states marine helicopter that disappeared this weekend. >> our reporter is the only bay area reporter there and was near the wreckage flight this morning and is on the phone from katmandu. sergio? >> yes, we are right new waiting for an update from the united states marine corps, the general, who is here, in charge of the joint force is about to making a statement. we know this wreckage was elected earlier this morning and this is likely video of the area where it was found just beyond

the green ridge, three miles beyond that is where the wreckage was found. you can tell by the pictures that this is pretty treacherous terrain, sharp hills and a lot of communities that had been devastated by the trues earthquake because of rock slides, as well and initial reports are that there were three bodies found but of course this was the helicopter that was carrying quite a few more personnel and several marines onboard and two nepal military members, as well so right now at this news conference this is scheduled to begin in a few minutes we hope to hear a few more details of the people aboard and any other people we have next on and how it might have happened and how they were found. we know initially the wreckage was found by the nepal army spotted from a helicopter and sent crews down to make sure it

was the wreckage and the united states came in to confirm. when we get the details from the general here we will be sure to pass that information along. before you get ans explain how the nepal military found the helicopter but it took several days. that is unusual in a case like this. >> one of the reasons why it is so unusual is there is an assumption that aircraft have beacons of some sort on them. part of the reason why this is so difficult is because this is really difficult terrain to get to and you notice that in the helicopter ride we were in you could be able to just get over some of ridges but these mountains are really really tall the himalayas and the pilots know the areas very well,

thank you. this morning police in vallejo are sing for the person responsible for murdering a high school student. 17-year-old max rusk was shot and killed near his school high school yesterday. there was a vigil for max last night. he attended promise last week. his body was found on ascot parkway before noon. two schools were clowned down. his parents are calling for 14 daze of peace say vigil is the first of 14 to be held each night for the next two weeks. >> vigils are set for three high school seniors killed in a crash near gel provide. >> three 18-year-old passengers were killeds on tuesday night. the vigil for two are set for 7:30 tonight at the high school and a vigil for williams is set

rusk was slot and killed on a trail near his high school around noon. friends say they do not know why he was there at that time. it happened in vallejo. his parents are grieving the loss of their junctionest son and wonder why he was killed and describe him as a good boy. >> i want to know he was a gentle kind, funny human being that was just the kindest person who would never steal or rob nobody and never hurt no one. he would help older people. i did not understand why someone would want to hurt my son. >> friends and family held a vigil last night at the site where three was killed and his parents plan to do this every night for the next two weeks calling it 1 days of peace. they are begging young people to stop with the violence. police have not announced any arrest or what they think the motive could have been behind

the murder. coming up at 6:35 the first funeral is held for one of the eight victims in the amtrak crash in philadelphia. the engineer, ban drop bostian has agreed to speak with investigators in the next few days. "new york times" reports that postian has long expressed concerns over train safety the posts from a website dedicated to train enthusiasts say more should be done to prevent accidents citing his name. the c.e.o. said the railroad takes full responsibility. yesterday investigators say the train suddenly accelerated from 70 to 100 miles per hour in the final minute approaching the cub. >> amtrak dispatcherring juried has filed the first lawsuit. a lawyer said philadelphia resident is still hospitalized with concussion, and spinal injuries. no word on how much money he is

the pilot was forced to declare an emergency and land at l.a.x. after noticing smoke and electrical smell in the cockpit. the flight 525 had 165 passengers and crew on board and landed safely and taxied to the gate with no word from united on what triggered the emergency. >> officials in washington, dc, arrested a advantageville man who tried to launch a drone outside the white house fence. the officers pinned the 39-year-old man to the ground moments after the incident. it is not clear if mcdonald intended to fly the aircraft to the mansion or just taking photos of washington dc. this comes four months after an off-duty united states intelligence employee landed a drone on the white house lawn. >> a wild idea to improve the commute on the bay bridge. >> what transit leaders have in mind that have riders doing a double take. >> the apple watch putting your identity at risk with a new warping of why it makes you a

start and the dow is up in the single digits of the s&p and nasdaq with just slightly lower because of record highs. hackers have discovered a work around to the apple watch enabling thieves to swipe the device clean and a video posted on the spent shows how a thief can bypass the lock scene if less than one minute. someone could steal the apple watch and society it up on a different device. in word great apple if they are working on a philadelphia. united is offering a bug bounty a payment up to $1 million for hackers who find vulnerabilities in the website and mobile app. it is part of commitment to protect the customer privacy. >> babies less than two are using smart phones and tablets with some spending an hour at a time on the devices. american academy of pediatrics discourages the use of computers for those under two but there is
