that's when the restaurant workers across the street stepped in to help. >> this video taken in traffic shows the scene as a fight ensues on the bus. >> i look over and see this guy pretty much on top of the bus driver. stop the bus or i will stab you. i will kill you. >> they were prepping food as usual when they rushed over to help. >> the passenger threatened the bus driver with a pen and then threw this windshield wiper at his head for intervening. they didn't think twice about his safety. >> somebody was ready to get assaulted i wasn't going to stand there. >> he knew he had to act fast when he saw the man grab a metal pipe that is normally used to crack the bus window in an emergency. >> it would hurt somebody. >> he you are ped the man --

abc7 news has learned auto shops in the bay area are seeing a rash of auto burglaries targeting hybrid batteries, especially for the prius. a mechanic says the thieves are probably pros doing it without being electrocuted. in 20 minutes thieves can get away with a battery that will sell for $100 on-line. fixing

the damage is much more expensive, up to $10,000. the counterfeit product industry is said to be a $1.7 trillion criminal enterprise. it supports terrorism and child labor. >> what if you don't know you are buying a fake. >> it may not be right but it is one thing when you want to buy a knockoff purse when it is cheaper, but what if you don't want to buy one? counterfeit goods are ending up on store shelves so you could get one and not know it. they are finding the counterfeit products in more places tan ever. >> they will show up in major retailers and it will show up on-line when you are buying through market places like ebay and am amazon or even small neighborhood shops. >> dave is the coo of monster headphones. he said they have seen cases where major retailers are

getting monster products returned to them. >> they actually put the product back on the shelf. >> we wanted to see how this happened. we ordered a north face jack set on alley express for $33. the description called it a just a denali jacket, but the pictures look like the north face denali jacket. it had the north face logo and tag with a upc code and a price tag of $165. first my producer took it to the north face outlet in berkeley. immediately the salesperson suspected something. >> did you wash this at all? >> she called over her supervisor. >> honestly, this doesn't look like a real north case. it looks like a fake. >> they wouldn't take it back without a receipt. they said associates are well trained to look out for fakes. she fold my producer, the logo and zipper ties was different from the real jacket.

my producer then headed to the north face store in san francisco. she walked in and again with no receipt and just the jacket. >> i can give you store credit. >> she didn't punch the upc code on the tag into the cash register. she apologized that she couldn't give the full $169. >> let me think about that. >> have a great day. >> accepting that money would be illegal so the producer stopped right there. craig crosby runs a counterfeit report a watchdog organization for counterfeit products. he did the same thing in southern california at the north face store. >> actually offered to exchange the item and told us it would go back on the shelf. >> we contacted the north face but the company never got back to us with a response. >> the retail employee, really

watching cloud cover here and not just near the coast but around the bay as well. it is gusty at sfo. 21 in hayward. the wind is coming off the cool ocean water. that's why de expiet the -- that's why despite the fact that it is in the 50s it feels chillier outside. looking at a live picture from the exploratorium camera, you will see low clouds pushing in and look at the forecast. spotty drizzle in the morning. partly cloudy skies for the weekend. stays cooler than normal for this time of year. not just for the weekend. there is a system that dumped a couple of inches of rain and brought some flooding there. high pressure and low pressure and the wind flow for us has been a bit on the breezy side. the cool, breezy pattern will stick around a with below average temperatures. here is a look at the week ahead for san jose. the temperature trend is a good five to 10 degrees below the average of 75 degrees.

it does keep our fire danger down especially in the drought. temperatures are in the upper 40s to the low 50s. if you have early plans you will need to bundle up and watch out for a little drizzle that will be around primarily near the coast. for the afternoon you will see a mix of clouds and sun you you. 69 in los gatos. mid60s redwood city and menlo park. cloudy and upper 50s. downtown san francisco, 60 degrees. low 70s around santa rosa and calistoga. east bay communities you are going to be low to mid60s. 65 oakland and fremont. inland spots are a little more sun, 70 in livermore and concord. 72 in fairfield. a pretty mild day in our inland communities, but not where you should be this time of year. if you are going to the a's game we are looking at 60 degrees and a bit on the breezy side.

temperature drops to 55. if i were you i would take a jacket with you. if you are taking part in beta breakers or going to check them out, the race conditions looking at chilly conditions, low to mid50s and then upper 50s. really the clouds will linger with peeks of sun. i know some people choose costumeses and some people not so much. you will need to bundle up. it will start out on the chilly side. temperatures mid50s to low 70s. cooler as we head into monday. no rain there. the temperatures start to come back up by a few degrees each and every day through friday. no where near what we expect to see in ♪ with kaiser permanente you'll connect with your doctor any time

good evening. it has been 39 years since rick barry lead the warrior tots western conference finals. steph curry did it with a shot that will be remembered forever. warriors' gm bob meyers and a little pensive right there. klay thompson and steph curry were knocking down three's. it looked almost too easy. the warriors opened up the lead. zeebow, zach randolph leads them on the run. here is the killer shot. four seconds left in the third. the shock is blocked and president whatted a foul and didn't get it. curry from 62 and that is the baby face assassin. he's at his finest. momentum completely changed after that. he knocks down a couple other three's. warriors win it 108-95.
