senate candidate loretta sanchez is under fire after she made a derogatory gesture about native americans. >> it happens during a gathering 69 indian american caucus. she recently received an invitation from someone within the community. >> i'm thinking i'm going to go meet with -- the man who filmed sanchez' gesture, said several people in the room found the gesture insensitive to native americans. >> i was shocked and appalled she would make the comment about native americans that way. >> at the same time, camilla harris was told about the gesture. >> you know, i don't know what to say to that, except that that's shocking.

police say william mcadams swiped a plane from advantage aviation, the flight school where he worked. the plane left the airport early friday morning and the faa last tracked it over the pacific ocean, going south toward the mexican border why he took the plane remains a mystery. >> we have no idea what happened and what his motive might have been. >> he did have access to that plane. this particular occasion, he did not. he was unauthorized to take the plane. >> the coast guard airport and mexican authorities are all on the lookout for mcadams and the plane. a south bay man is asking for the public's help in finding a thief who took his construction trailer. he was working on a remodeling job when someone stole his trailer right out of the drive way. surveillance videotape at a nearby car dealership shows the suspects driving off with it.

t a popular sports apparel company is apologizing for selling a shirt that has angered veterans and nonveterans alive. the shirt replicates a military photo taken at iwo jima. janet oh has the story. >> the shirt is causing quite the controversy. the image is similar to this historic 1945 photo showing marines lifting up the american flag on iwo geem ma. this picture shows men lifting up a basketball backboard and hoop. one man wrote on the company's facebook page, i decided to burn all my ua gear in response to their latest decision.
