live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> the mystery disappearance of a college of marin student is tragically resolved more than 30 years later. good morning. >> the remains of 21-year-old elizabeth martinsson a swedish exchange student has been identified&will be sent to her family. >> there are so many unanswered questions in the case. amy? >> yes that is true. we are in a very remote area of fremont. the canyon is one lane into the hills and one lane out. this is where she was found. we are 46 miles from where she was living. authorities have determined the

remains they found her were those of 21 year old elizabeth martinsson an exchange student from sweden living with a family in greenbrae in marin county and working as a nanny. she disappeared in 1982. it wasn't until 2010 the bones were discovered in a creek bed in the canyon and now the victim has been identified. a man and woman were found in oak driving her car a few week after her disappearance. they were never charged with anything more than auto theft. we have a statement from a member of her host family as they released since the reaction to the discovery saying elizabeth worked for our family as an au pair, a wonderful soul and very kind the she is still missed today. >> investigators say they are ashes will be sent to sweden and they are in communication with the three brothers. they are trying to find out if the man who was driving her car, henry coleman if he is still alabor and if they and find him

and talk to him again and they are going do send evidence to the department of justice for further analysis. at this point necessity say they do not know how she died but they do suspect foul play. >> thank issue amy. >> a long battle over palo alto's last remaining mobile home park i don't end today but residents promise not to go down without a fight. our reporter is joining us live from palo alto city hall. matt? >> yes, the residents will show up tonight to the city council meeting hoping to get a better deal before they are forced out of their homes. >> welcome to the buena vista mobile home park tucked away the last mobile home park in all of palo alto. about hundred people live here in 104 mobile homes, 12 studios and one system family home. in november of 2012 the owners submitted an election to close the park. the residents fought back and are in limbo wondering if and

the cause of a suspicious fire in vallejo that break out inside a home renovated on martins street at 2:30 this morning. it was fully engulfed when crews arrived. a homeless man was staying inside and he was not hurt. investigator say this is the 4th fire in vallejo in 48 hours. >> in contra costa county crews put out a grass fire before the flames could reach the emerald coffee mobile home park in pittsburg. a camera shows the fire engines on the scene that break out before 6:00 a.m. the fire may have started at a homeless encampment and spread within feet of some of the homes. >> police are creditingen alert citizen with helping to catch two suspected burglars. the two men seen here broke into a home on pontiac street yesterday morning. someone called police to report the to men were acting suspiciously. the house was ransacked and

to the golden gate bridge and more sunshine and a cool breeze is the first forecast highlights. clouds and not so much drizzle like this morning not so much drizzle as yesterday and a warming trend will miss the coast. that is pretty typical for this time of the year if we do not get the offshore breeze. good news if you have allergies, everything is low but for grass pollen which is moderate. we will take a look at our temperatures down in the south bay upper 60 to low 70s but los gatos and gilroy is 73 degrees. we have mid-to-upper 60s on the peninsula today and with the sunshine at the coast, half moon bay is 68 a warm spot, daly city and colma, 55. nearly 60 downtown and south san francisco and sausalito and mid-60 around bodega bay and there is a strong sea breeze pumping to petaluma at 66 and everyone else is in the low 70's in the north bay valley. low-to-mid 60s along the east bay shore with oakland and san leandro and fremont warmer at 67 and upper 60 to mid-70s

throughout most of our inland east bay neighborhoods. going to the game tonight? increasing clouds and cool but a three game wind streak will keep you warm. now our lows tone, the clouds come back, mainly low-to-mid 50s. what we are watching is the area of low pressure and the trough that created the extensive drizzle yesterday is moving away to the cooler and try and northwest flow coming in so we are seeing more sunshine and high pressure comes in and we will have clouds in the morning. they will break up faster but for at the coast and you will still be in the 60s at coast and the rest of us are in the 70s and 80s from the bay and inland all the way through the rest of the forecast. now, that looks a little more like may. >> thank you. america's first all girl tackle football league kicked off over the weekend. the legal already has one celebrity player, 12-year-old sam gordon keeping him a football sensation at age nine when her dad posted highlights
