of damage. the water showered on to the roof and soaked this three-store apartment building. check out the picture showing the water shooting up in the air. it's significantly taller then the building. the carpet and the hallways of drenched and water continues to drip down from the roof. crews are out here to dry out the place where they say will take a few days at best. knew the cause of all this? the owner of the building says a neighbor accidentally backed into the fire hydrant this afternoon. one of the tenants just moved in and had plans for a house warming party. the party will still go on but guests were halve jobbingly told to wear rain boots. >> we gait photo of another friend of the fire hydrant that exploded and she said i don't now if my living room is flooded or not. we may have to cancel the party. sounds like they came and drained the roof and doing a good job. >> a few of the apartments got water inside but it's mostly in the common areas so residents

won't by displaced by the situation. live in marina district, abc7 news. >> a water main break flooded a mall in korda madera today. a crew was able to turn off the water flow and there was no reported damage. developing news six-year-old girl is dead and her mother's boyfriend is accused of killing her. sheriff's deputies in gasoline county north of sacramento, found the little girl's burned body in a field this morning. she was reported missing on thursday. detectives arrested 25 year juan rivera on a murder charge. he had been caring for the little girl. a friend of the girl's mother said rivera seemed like a loving father figure. >> all i know is the got had a good communication with him because she was calling him daddy and he was buying her clothes, doing everything that parents are supposed to do.

>> police say the girl's mother is getting medical treatment and is not a suspect in the murder. a concert for a cause today. young performers from across the santa clara valley hope to bring awareness to cyber bullying through music. the protests benefit the audrie potts foundation named after a saratoga high school student who killed herself because of bullying. cornell bernard is live with the story. >> a strong positive message here tonight. these bracelets weren't the only awareness for the audrie potts foundation. there was music. the performers saying no to cyber bullying. [music] >> singer songwriter loves to perform when her music brings awareness to real life issues like cyber bullying. >> i think it's a really important cause. not many think about what they do before they do something online.

[music] >> reporter: that's walk for a reason concert is raising funds for the audrie potts foundation, combating cyberbullying in schools. odd dri was 15 when she committed suicide after being sexually assaulted at a party after she passed out after drinking alcohol. photos of the assault were posted online and the she messaged friend on facebook my life is over. >> audrie reached out to a lot persons and we feel it was a cry for help that went unanswered. >> audrie's stepmom says the foundation brings awareness into local schools. odd dri's dad larry says speak out if you see it happening. >> to get behind an educational effort starting at the middle school to the high schools and just giving kids some different opportunities and some understanding about what is going on and to try to stop this national epidemic. >> she didn't deserve what

happened to her at call she was just a girl in high school who was having fun. >> she will always remember odd dri. last year governor brown signed odd dri's law which increases penalties for teens convicted in cyber bullying crimes. meantime, others are lending their voices to bring hope and awareness to others. [music] >> in san jose cornell bernard abc7 news. >> new details now on what former san francisco 49er ray mcdonald's i accused of doing to his ex-fiancee. he quote pushed and pulled his ex violently and repeatedly while she held her two-month-old baby. police arrived mcdonald on monday on domestic vie cleanse charges. they arrested him a second time on wednesday when they say he violated the protective order. mcdonald is free on bail. protesters rallied in san francisco today calling attention to police brutality.

here's a live look at lake tahoe. the sierra saw a lot of rain, drew tuma has more with live doppler 7hd. >> it's really hard to believe that parts of the state have seen above normal rainfall. the set up for the month of may has been consistent. high pressure off the coast and an area of low pressure basically over las vegas and where these two opposing forces collide, it's known as the convergent zone and that set up over the sierra and that's where the showers were likely to form over the past couple of weeks. a look at the total rainfall in some places into the north we go al tour -- south lake tahoe two inches of rain, and one final location, bishop, over an inch of rain and that is 730% above normal rainfall. closer to home, we are tracking a cold front. what that means the second half of the weekend and the full accuweather forecast in a few.
