there are breaks in the cloud cover so more sunshine today it will be breezy this afternoon. until that develops we have two miles visibility in petaluma and 1.25 at half moon bay and golden gate bridge is covered in fog. look at sfo low clouds are hanging there, imagine we will have delays. by noon it will be brighter breezy by 4:00 and still 60's at the coast and 78 inland toward 6:00 cool, and inland, a chance of showers and drizzle. >> thanks, mike. now, the roads? >> misty out there. we are tracking an accident in the east bay, not because of the mist but it look like it was one vehicle that was involved and they were blocking the middle lane on 580 westbound direction but it has been moved to the shoulder. now, the bay bridge toll plaza

shows traffic is moving nicely with breaks if the cloud. it will be a nice drive moving in to work as we move over to san jose that commute is also moving along at top speed headed along 280 away from 88017 up to cupertino. >> breaking news from the south bay, fires are still on the scene of a two-alarm fire that destroyed a home overnight. officials believe it started on the second floor of the 3,000 square' home with all five people getting out safely but the pet cat is missing. all five people are okay. >> an art studio was located on the second floor and cans of spray painted were heard spreading because of the heat from the fire. matt keller was at scene and will join us much >> in philadelphia this is live pictures of buses being brought out for some of the passengers on board a us airways flight,

actually, an american airlines flight because american has bought us airways, a bomb net so they have isolated the plane off by itself and in an area of the airport, philadelphia international airport were the flight was from san diego to philadelphia and at some point someone made a bomb threat so police have isolated the plane and are taking bomb sniffing dos to see if it is actually legitimate or something that was a hoax. we are seeing the busing are transporting passengers from the plane to the terminal. as we get more information on the story we will bring it to you. there were 88 people on board plus five crew members on the airbus 8321. >> the f.a.a. and ntsb are sending investigators to livermore to determine what caused a light plane to crash shortly after take off from livermore airport.

the pilot was killed. our reporter, amy hollyfield is if livermore with the details. amy? >> yes eric it is dark here in the field. they have a light on the crash site but they have not had an opportunity to look at it in the daylight. the plane went down about 9:00 last night. here is the view from sky 7 from above last night. authorities say the pilot was killed in the crash and they do not believe anyone else was on board, the many went down three miles from the livermore airport and they believe the pilot had just taken off. we have an audio clip of the pilot radioing in to the control tower just before the crash. >> i have a slight criminal problem and i will sickle here and check it out. >> our deputies arrived and we location add small single engine-type aircraft. we are unable to find a tail number at this point. >> witnesses posted pictures of

happening today voters in snow may will decide whether they want to pay a higher sale sa tax to fund more road work. it would raise $20 million a year to repair county roads and grab public transit. sonoma county has among the worst roads in the bay area. polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 people. asan francisco muni, riders are in good company the next three week. city supervisors will be required to ride buses, streetcars or cable cars each day as part of a public transit challenge. all supervisors and the mayor have send the muni challenge to look for ideas on how to improve the system. elected officials must tweet while riding or tweet an explanation on days they do not take muni. >> hundreds are still missing and feared dead after a ferry sank on china's yangzh.

a two-alarm fire has destroyed a home with firefighters think it started on the second floor of this two story, 3,000 square foot home. all five people inside get out safely. a pet cat is still missing. our reporter, matt keller, will have a report in a few minutes. >> the f.a.a. and ntsb are investigating a small plane crash near livermore municipal airport. it left the pilot dead. the pilot reported trouble just before crashing three miles from the airport around 9:00 last night, and so far no word on the identity of the pilot as the single engine piper. >> authorities removed 93 passengers from an american airlines plane in philadelphia after reported bomb threat. the flight from san diego landed and was taken to a remote area of the airport. the air bus stop is now be -- the airbus is now being swept by authorities. >> there is a controversial tree clearing project in the hills

a resident heard popping sounds from the second floor and investigated. >> i walked outside and walked around the balk of the house and i saw spoke coming out of the window and the side so i ran back around, and the house was on fire, called 9-1-1. >> the resident believes the popping noises were spray paint cans in the second floor art studio used bit landlord. when firefighters confirmed everyone was out they fought defensively and fires surrounded the home and put on water. a resident said they stay at a friend's house and the home is destroyed. fires will look for a cause with a better idea of the damage when the sun comes out. this is known as highway nine and is still blocked off. there is a detour at rose avenue. firefighters are expected to be here for a couple more hours. >> developing news federal

inexpecters will today investigate the crash of a small plane in livermore last night that killed the pilot. we our reporter is at the scene with what we know so far. amy? >> kristen, now that it is getting lighter, we can get a better view of the crash site and it is proposed off with crime tape and it looks like one man has been spent the night out there to keep an eye on things before investigators can get out here and take a closer look. they have not looked in the daytime because the plane went down at 9:00. witnesses took pictures of the crash site and the fire the crash ignited and posted them on social media. it crashed as it kicked off, crashed about three mile northeast of the livermore airport. the pilot died in the crash and they do not think anything was on board. they are looking into the possibility that the pilot was having trouble right best accident. >> there is a report of a plane radioing in to the livermore
