cyber attack on the u.s. government. allegations are flying back and forth with china denying it has any role in getting records on millions of employees. abc reporter alyssa harrington has more. >> reporter: they're concerned about the breach, saying they have access to sensitive information. investigators point the finger at china, saying are involved. this time up to 4 million former and current employees are at risk. they hacked personal information and records. just about every major federal agency was hit. the state department admits maintaining cyber security is not easy. >> the federal government all the time when we notice intrusions, possible intrusions we take steps to mitigate them, continue to update our security but it is a significant

way of snow, mountain biking in the area earlier than past years. something to be aware of. we will check in with weather and traffic coming up. there are wind delays at philadelphia international airport, but wind had nothing to do with this rough landing. a small jet had to make an emergency landing after the pilot alerted the airport authorities that his plane was having nose gear issues. five people on board got off safely. the airport allowed only arrivals while the investigation was under way. the air force is easing policy on discharging transgender troops. it mirrors a move made by the army in march. allowing transgender people to serve openly. service members that identify as transgender or diagnosed with gender dysphoria are generally discharged on medical grounds. until now the decision were made by doctors and unit commanders. going forward will be reviewed by high level officials. if you have a sweet tooth

ross next on abc. see you soon. cheerleaders are paid little to nothing. one lawmaker says it is time to change that. >> a bill has been introduced that requires professional sports teams to recognize cheerleaders as employees, pay at least minimum wage for practice time, promotional peernss, game performances. similar bill last month, getting okay from assembly committee. the bill drafted in the wake of lawsuits by cheerleaders against the raiders and buffalo bills. this year's flu vaccine was less protective than usual. flu vaccines were only 19% effective preventing doctor visits, one of the lowest rates in ten years. the virus wasn't a good match for the dominant strains in circulation this year. if you use yahoo maps you have to switch to something else. they're shutting down the map

ceremony at rodriguez high school. police found out he was at the ceremony, but waited until the graduates filed out before arresting him. he is wanted in connection with a shooting late last month. union city police say two good samaritans helped catch a man suspected of robbing an 85-year-old shopper. this man pick pocketed the victim on safe way. the victim then fought with levy trying to get his wallet back. one witness stepped in to help and tackled him until police arrived. a drug called the female viagra is a step closer to approval. fda advisory committee voted to recommend approval of the drug used to treat premenopausal women suffering from hyperactive sexual desire disorder. they say it saves relationships. they're pushing for approval from the full fda. >> i want to love my husband it is that simple.
