cleveland. >> reporter: we get ready for game three at quicken loans arena. of course, cavaliers stole game two, and the warriors have been one of the best road teams on the road in the nba. they hope that rings true again tonight at quicken loans arena. game two back at oracle to even the series at one game a piece. today at warriors shoot-around, i ask coach kerr if they have a different approach with this team when they hit the road. >> the game is the same. the routine is different. sometimes the routine is healthy. get out on the road and circle the wagons a little bit. we played well on the road in the playoffs. we're very comfortable. >> the road wins speak more volume about your team. there's more adversity. in the regular season maybe not expected to win a majority of those games.

cavs has a bay area connection. his profile has been heightened since the game two win on sunday. >> laura anthony continues our live team coverage from cleveland. hi laura. >> reporter: hi. i hope you can hear me. let me give you an exclusive look inside a party going on right now here in cleveland. these folks just arrived via charter aircraft. 150 warrior employees full-time staff. they've been flown in by the owners to attend tonight's game. they are very excited. of course, as you mentioned, there's a lot of excitement about another player, a cavs player with bay area connections. >> dellavedova. >> dellavedova with the championship shirt on the front. >> forget lebron james and the

better known names. in cleveland the hot shirt this day is the one with five syllables as if former st. mary's star matthew dellavedova. >> he's a hard worker. >> they were promoting the delly burger here in the q. i've always admired how hard he plays. >> what do you have? >> a delly shirt. >> they are flying off shelves. >> reporter: many like delly before. but after sunday's shut down of the warriors star steph curry dellavedova is gold to cavs fans. >> the basketball is on the floor. >> st. mary's college. once you become part of cleveland, you have to cut all ties elsewhere. >> dellavedova has really stepped up and has really played excellent. and i always it'll people no matter who is in the game if you play hard good things happen.

at napkins bar and grill. this is the official watch party in the napa valley. four big screens to watch the action. lots of swag for people showing up. rally rags thunder sticks. game three is not far away now. >> reporter: napa's true colors are showing. this official party took a lot of planning. napkins bar and grill owner is stocking up on extra food and drink for dubs fans. >> the excitement is on the high level. and tonight probably this place looks like a stadium. >> staff should be pointing tourists toward local wineries. today it's all about basketball. >> strength in numbers. >> got to have the right gear for game three. >> for sure. >> no cavs goor gear for sale at coliseum sports. but anything warriors is here. they can't keep enough swag in stock. >> everyone wants to represent. they didn't watch basketball, they're watching it now.

replaced with a pride flag. some fans are worried this could mean bad luck. the mayor assures me he has a plan to honor both of these important events. >> ties the game! >> reporter: san francisco has been one of the golden state warriors biggest cheerleaders. city hall lights up at night in team colors. a team flag waves above. this morning the dubs flag came down. in its place, a rainbow flag to kick off lgbt pride month. >> the city has a game plan. to celebrate both pride and nba finals they'll swap out the flags on game day. >> they'll be up tonight for the game. >> reporter: changes are also planned for the l.e.d. lights around city hall. >> in rainbow colors for pride month are and also the warriors colors at times.

we're celebrating a multitude of events. >> reporter: i asked the director of the sf pride board about how he feels about sharing the spotlight. >> not at all. the rainbow colors are meant to convey inclusion. >> reporter: a famous sports figure will be front and center at this year's pride parade serving as grand marshall. exactly who is being kept a secret for now. within the hour or so the dubs flag should be back on the balcony. i tried to find out who this mystery grand marshal is. they are openly gay and involved in professional sports here in the bay area. elissa harrington, abc 7 news. abc 7 is the only place to catch the nba final. our coverage of game three at 5:30 with nba countdown.

without power. one family has been without power for 24 hours now. they are worried the electricity won't come back until after the game. another resident is worried about his medicine. >> i'm diabetic. i've got my medicine in the fridge. it's getting warmer and warmer. i'm getting concerned about whether my medicine is going to spoil. >> pg&e says the estimated restoration time is 7:00 p.m. this was part of a chain of outages yesterday caused by the sweltering heat that put a lot of demand on the system. a fire at b.a.r.t.'s hayward maintenance yard. they de-energized the track. service stopped between hayward and fremont. sky 7 hd was overhead as they boarded a bus to get around. police hope witnesses and surveillance video will help

catch an arsonist who torched electric cars on redwood boulevard. >> the vehicles were not occupied at all. they hadn't been running. for a vehicle to spontaneously catch on fire is extremely unusual. >> this is a very quiet community. you don't expect it. >> arson investigators believe a surveillance camera mounted at a nearby restaurant will shed more light on what happened late last night. a man appeared in court to answer charges of kidnapping a 3-year-old boy from the milpitas library. he returned to jail after today's hearing. his bail was set at $100,000. he's due back in court next week. prosecutors believe he was a stranger to the child he's accused of taking last friday. >> over 100 people were interviewed. as we progress through this,

we'll learn more about the motives and the why. >> police credit an alert bus driver with spotting the child and the suspect on the bus. that driver called police as he pulled into the fremont bus station. that's where they arrested eddington and found the boy. many water users in the east bay will see higher bills. they approved increases today. an 8% permanent increase and a drought surcharge to pay for improvement projects. right now the water supply will last about a year. san francisco will require warning labels on advertising for sugary drinks. the board of supervisors approved the new rules this afternoon. it requires warning labels on print advertising. bans soda ads on publicly owned property and prohibits use of city funds for the purchase of sugary beverages. oakland city officials are meeting to discuss the fate of

the henry j. kaiser convention center. they are deciding whether it should be converted to office space or preserved for conventions and other community activities. a hotel has also been proposed but there's opposition to that idea. the 114-year-old building has been closed since 2005. the fbi is looking to hire tech workers. they were among several companies looking for top talent. at the job journal hire event in san francisco. more than 500 jobs are available. abc 7 was also there looking to fill several positions. you can find information on our website. the next hire event is on the 7th. we vanhave an hour and 12 minutes until abc 7's coverage of the nba finals gets under way. >> a little cooler today. >> it really changed today. temperatures not only dropped but the cloud cover increased.

i can see fog across into the east bay. we may be picking up showers and thunderstorms late tonight going into tomorrow. right now it shows cloud cover. we're tracking some moisture southwest of the bay area. earlier today there were thunderstorms over the pacific ocean. obviously they've stayed offshore for the time being. temperatures and wind right now. temperatures are down. the wind has increased, gusting to 40 at fairfield. if you are stepping out, keep that in mind. here's what's allowed us to cool down. the fog from the cam. 66 in oakland. 84 in san jose. half moon bay, 59 degrees. from emeryville you can see some of those tropical clouds there, along with the fog down below. temperatures in the 70s. concord, 86 degrees in livermore. exploratory cameras showing you
