>> this must have been a scary experience for the victim who had a high powered machine gun pointed at his face and police say this started as an armed robbery and the victim was robbed at 3:00 this morning. police did take two people into custody and they say they found the gun that was tossed. they found it on barlett and 23rd in san francisco's mission district described as a semi-automatic machine gun. the robbery happened at 23rd and valencia when a robber shot himself in the leg. he was taken to the hospital for treatment. they are searching the area for evidence and make sure no one else was involved. there are two suspected in custody and they want to make sure no one else was involved and they say the robbery victim is okay. thank you, 6:02 the city of

san jose is making a major push to boost the number of female officers on the force. according to our media partner, the police department has 88 female officers which is 50 less than the department's peek speak since 2008. they have been lit hard with retirements and resignations. the department has less than a thousand officers available for patrol in big of the city in the bay area. officials are trying to recruit more women in an effort to make the san jose police department more representative much the department is holding a free event on saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 o'clock p.m. at the police substation on great oaks parkway. if you wantness on tickets go to our website. >> worse will try to even the series in game four at the nba finals and they lost on tuesday in cleveland, 96-91 and they need the victory to avoid a 3-1 deficit in the best of seven.

this morning, we are learning more of a record-setting marijuana bust in hayward. officers seized the drug from the seemingly quiet warehouse and now several people are in jail. our reporter is in the newsroom with more. >> hayward police call it a marijuana factory, the largest bust of its kind in the city's history. authorities confiscated 13,000 marijuana plants that had a street value of $15 million. these are some pictures showing the elaborate indoor pot drove operation. the building itself is set to be comparable to the size of a grocery store. police say people were living in the warehouse harvesting and packaging drugs with the intent to sell. after a lengthy investigation police served a search warrant on friday in hayward. three person have been arrested as a result. they are 22-year-old tony honk of alameda 21-year-old troy
