state warriors bringing the nba home to the bay area. >> the warriors my back to oakland after closing out the cavaliers in cleveland. steph curry scored 25 points in the deciding game number six and the warriors defense stifled the cavs and withstood several runs beating cleveland >> and the m.p. was the first to win the award without playing until the finals and iguodala receive a $100,000 bonus forgetting series mvp. >> my god. had a great group of guys and players and teammates and coaches. the front office. our fans. our fans. they deserved it. my god, it is beautiful. this is what it is.

beautiful. we will be joy this. we want to get another because it feels good. >> it was a historic season the warriors finished with 83 wins, the third highest single season total in nba history and steve kerr only the third to win the nba title in his rookie season. >> fans poured into the streets of oakland and they were well behaved. a few climbed on an ac transit bus at 14th and broadway. others tagged the word "warriors," on pavement. at telegraph and 15 this a few fireworks were lit but they were not mean spirited. oakland police brought in extra officers with help from the c.h.p. in the end, there were no reports of major violence or vandalism. our reporter, matt keller, has a report on the crowd at the top of the hour.

>> across the bay warriors fans poured into the streets of san francisco in the mission district to celebrate. this was the scene at 24th and mission streets the cloud blocked traffic and one person helped on the back of a limousine bus but the crowd behaved. police were standing by but they made no arrests. >> the thousands of fans were jammed into oracle arena could not wait. amy? >> look behind me this is where the oakland a's lay and the jumbo toronto is lit up and says "we are warriors," so everyone in the spirit right new. this is what a championship looks like out here but listen to what it sounded like inside oracle arena last night.

you would think that was the crowd at a home game much the crowd just watched the team play here but they watched them on the big screen. the team was in cleveland but the crowd was here to watch it on the big screen. they had to buy a ticket to be here at $15 each and was sold out crowd in just two days. everyone exploded when their team won. >> it was crazy. us was emotional. >> that's what i'm talking about. we won. we won. we won. we won. yes! outside the arena it was fund with a deejay here to keep the party going which was great but the fans would have made their own music if they needed to. they are difficult

happy. the t showers were sold out but they will be available at 8:00 and dix sporting goods will have their clothing vehicle with merchandise not available in 40 years, the golden state warriors are the championships. that is what the t-shirts say. >> fans will be at oracle arena to try to get the locker room gear worn by the players. many of the fans at the watch party headed straight to the store before the game ended where box loads of championship gear went on sale. the store was sold out by my night. it will be restocked when they re-open at 8:00 this morning the warriors at west field mall in san francisco will also be open with more gear. >> another popular spot for fans is the sports authority and dix sporting goods, opening several bay area locations early at 7:00 this morning at foster city
