amy? >> here is where it happened, the explosion happened at 5:00 p.m. yesterday, described as "very loud." the man who was here was making fireworks. he was burned severely. that is the bomb squad detonating explosives they found, doing it in a safe place but it took all night long. while they were doing that, they evacuated the homes near the house where this happened so the red cross relocated people for the night. police say they took 42-year-old anthony stewart to the hospital. he suffered from severe burns. they say at this point his condition is unknown. >> developing news, a nationwide

manhunt is on for the white gunman who stormed a historic black church and killed nine people in south carolina. we have just released photos of the gunman. our reporter is in the newsroom with the latest. >> there is an active manhunt for the shooter. police are calling this a hate crime. this is a picture of the suspect. he appears to be in his early 20. he is 5' 9" and was in a dark car with a distinct license late. he is considered "armed and dangerous." >> it is senseless. it is unfathomable someone in today's society would walk into a church when people are having a prayer meeting and take their lives. i can assure you we are going to do everything in our power to fine this individual to lock him up and to make sure that he does not hurt anyone else. >> nine people were killed while attending bible study at a
