f the car. there is a body underneath that car. it began when a car heading northbound hit that bus stop careened into a power pole then moved on and hit five more people. we spoke with a witness. >> i heard screaming and the car aimed at them. there is no way they can get away. it was terrible. >> the car hit everyone? >> yes. yes. and there is a person trapped underneath. so horrible. >> one woman owes her life to a truck driver that turned around to help. >> driving down the road. i came around the corner and

people were stuck underneath it. >> the driver of the car, no identification, and 65 years old. he has been detained the cause of the accident is unknown. we don't know whether he fell asleep sh or if there were drugs involved. police are saying he's been detained and is in the hospital. victims were sent to several hospitals, we do not have names of the victims we know they appear to have been according to police vallejo residents. that is all we have at this point it's a sad situation here in vallejo. >> now diners in a mexican

12:00 near east 18th street on the southeast side of the lake. >> it is a very busy day. the president arrived for the meeting of mayors and fund-raisers. >> president obama is at a fund-raiser and the motorcade made its way through the neighborhood that overlooks the bridge. residents say they noticed tighter security and they're quite familiar with the visits. one neighbor tells me she remembers seeing the president back when he was still smoking because he stepped out to take a cigarette break. this time, residents say the neighborhood was shut down.

a judge dropped all charges against a 72-year-old in a road rage shooting. >> the judge blasted the prosecutor for failing to show evidence that would have helped

ed bodies of four of the six irish students will be flown back to ireland sunday after seven injured students continue to recover from injuries. abc7 news is live in berkeley with the latest. janet? >> people continued to come here to the memorial site to pay respects. i was told the white sign you can see above flowers read may the grace of god with be their young souls, four students are said to be doing well and two are expected to make a full recovery. irish officials say they're thankful for the love and support pouring in from around the world. they say that love can be felt at hospitals where seven of the injured students are recovery. jimmy dinahahn visited the

california tonight. flames charred 17 square miles. 150 buildings were threatened. this news reporter from los angeles has the latest from the fire lines. a fire continues to rage out of control in the national forest. the lake fire now in its third day consumed thousands of acres of dense forest. a team of tankers hovered over a lake to fill tanks with water. the blaze is tearing through areas that haven't burned in decades. dry conditions low humidity, and winds helping to fan flames. on the ground, firefighters are dealing with tough terrain and conditions. >> we had snags that are

time line up. and final hi tonight, what a special day this was for a team a city, and the bay area. many sights and sounds today from the victory parade and rally. a moment in time transcends sports and speaks to something far more important in a game. professional sports teams gives cities a sense of identity that they would not have without them. as you know oakland has three, warriors we're celebrating today, and the raiders and a's who haven't been so thrilling but still great to call our own. oakland struggle was an image problem, often earned but often not a full fair picture. and in the shadow of one of the world's greatest cities in san francisco, also an identity
