with highway 4 this morning the caldecott tunnel sheriff is investigating a shooting on highway 4 in bay point last night at san marco boulevard exit. shots came from a silver vehicle with a broken window and two people were hit. on saturday, a 20-year-old man, tomas mendez was shot and killed in the same area on highway four. no arrests have been made in the shooting. >> a study confirms something many of us expected salaries are higher in the bay area than the rest of country but could more for live here? matt keller has that more in san jose. >> ebay has more than 32,000 workers and if they like the rest of the technical workers in silicon valley, they make a wage well above the national average. check out the numbers this is from a just released report from the united states bureau of labor statistics from may of last year workers in santa clara around on average $36.43

man who shot someone last night not far from where another map was fatally shot over the weekend. janet o is on the scene. janet? >> this is a second shooting in the area in less than a week. we are off of highway 4 where last night's shooting took place. contra costa county sheriff deputies were here investigating the screen and found several bullet casings here. traffic was backed up on highway 4 during the investigation. as of right now officials are saying very little about what happened and why. it is reported that two downtown -- gunshot victims arrived at the hospital in the bullet rid olded car coming from a silver car with a broken window. open saturday, tonight-year-old tomas mendez was shot and killed on highway four. no arrests have been made in
