warmest locations and near 0 in san jose. a sunnier sunday and heat when it comes back coming up. >> lisa, thank you. developing news out of san jose this morning where police are investigating a homicide. officers say a 17-year-old was shot at around 10:20 last night. investigators say the young man died on the sidewalk. we took several calls from news viewers who said there was a large police presence at the scene for hours. investigators have yet to identify any possible suspect.

around 60 degrees on the east pay shoreline. it is mild around concord livermore and hayward this morning. fairfield, the southwest wind gusting to 36 miles an hour. 55 in napa, and the high clouds will certainly visit much of the north bay. a very pretty picture here from vollmer peak. cool inland with near average temperatures tomorrow as the skies become sunnier as the high clouds move on out of the picture and the heat returns as soon as monday for the inland east bay. it will remain comfortable at our coast each and every day. we aren't looking at an offshore flow. the area of high pressure continues to expand and retreat and expand and retreat and that's exactly what it's doing this weekend. when the heat comes back, it will expand again from the south. we will look for temperatures today to begin to cool in the east bay. but the flow around the highs. bringing up the sub cop central moisture. that's allowed for a heat

cancelling tours to tunerra this morning following a terror attack that left 39 people dead at the resort. it is one of three attacks that happened within 90 minutes around the world. brian ross has more. >> it was just before noon when the gunman hit. his target british and german tourists, still in their bathing suits on beach chairs as rescue workers rushed them to the hospital at this popular resort on the mediterranean. >> as i turned, the bullet hit me in my arm. >> it was a massacre. at least 39 people dead, 39 more wounded. the bodies covered with with beach towels. >> i heard shots randomly on the beach. >> he killed people in the sea said another witness, and he killed people in the swimming pool. another tourist told an irish

radio station the gunman even shot at one of the beach area's popular hot-air balloons. >> i saw rapid firing and then on the beach they said run, run, run! >> unchecked terror and the lone gunman is identified as the man in this photo. he stalked the grounds with an automatic weapon before he was eventually killed by police. abc news' bob woodworth is in tunisia. he was in a boat hiding the gun in an umbrella. tonight authorities are urgently trying to determine the background of the gunman and whether he is connected to isis or any other a terror group. >> within hours there were two more terror attacks. one 700 miles away at this american-owned gas company in france where one person was found beheaded. and then a suicide bomb attack in kuwait where 27 people were killed during prayers at a mosque.

last night. cheryl jennings was the only television reporter inside last night's event to hear malala yousafzai. >> they did not believe in the freedom of women, they did not believe in women's rights or education. >> this 17-year-old girl from pakistan has become a symbol of courage around the world. malala yousafzai spent the evening at san jose state university in conversation with khaled hosseini. he's an international renown author of "kite runner" that talks about the area of his birth, afghanistan. they believe no one should stop girls from getting an education. malala fought for her own education, and they almost killed her. the taliban shot her in the head at point-blank range on her school bus in october, 2012. she was 15. miraculously she survived and used that assassination attempt as motivation to take her fight worldwide. malala was honored with the nobel peace prize in 2014.
