this is pink saturday, market street is closed from castro down to sanchez. the street party is all about music, it's all about dancing and, you know a lot of people say this weekend is really more than just a pride event. it's a victory. for marriage equality. >> the annual dike march arrived in the castro for pink saturday celebrations. a preview of sunday's 45th 45th pride parade which could be one for the record books. >> we are expecting our largest parade ever. i can say we're close to 250 contingents, more floats. >> the pride festival party is on at civic center. this year's unofficial theme happiness and equality for all. they're from san jose. >> this one came running in, jumped on me and said, we can get married. we won! >> this family brought their two daughters to celebrate. >> we're allowed to get married everybody else should pitch what's the difference?

trains to help people get into and out of the city. >> a warm day in san francisco. tonight it's called off a bit. but what about tomorrow during the big parade. abc7 news drew tuma as more with live doppler 7hd. >> the first half of pride starting off on a nice note. you can see low clouds moving in. by 11:00 we'll have a chilly breeze and temperatures in the mid-50s to lower 60s. the parade tomorrow, starting off, clouds, cool, 58 at 10:00 in the morning. still cloudy, low 60s. by 2:00, see the sun come out. warm into the mid-60s, and then by 6:00, sunshine but a cooler breeze will kick in and temperatures will drop to 63 degrees. the clouders going to have hard time breaking up in the bay area. we'll have the full forecast in

a few minutes. >> an update now on breaking news in sacramento. several days of 100-degree temperatures are helping fuel what firefighters are calling explosive fire behavior north of downtown. this grass fire burned at least five acres. the gus is it's now contained. right now strong winds causing flareups. several structures did burn and some people evacuated voluntarily. firefighters are hoping for rain tomorrow afternoon south of lake tahoe. a wildfire has been burning near markleyville. it's grown to 17,600 acres. tomorrow's storm could actually bring more danger, though because it brings with it the risk of dry lightning and gusty winds that a would fuel the flames. >> police in san jose are looking for shooters behind two

homicides in less than six hours. the first one happened just before 10:00 last night. a 17-year-old boy was shot at least once and he died. the second shooting was around 2:30 in the morning at south second and san carlos streets. a man was shot. he died at the hospital. in the north bay two families are out of their homes after a fire. the press democrat reports it started near the outside wall of one home on robinson court and then spread to the house next door. a neighbor tried to douse the flames withfirefighters got there. >> i started bucketing water from the swimming pool on to the base of the fire to try to slow it down. it was already turning into a different phase of the fire. it was yelling, fire fire, fire. i need water! >> luckily no one was hurt. firefighters found cans of stain and rags on the side of the home where the fire started. today brought two more funeral knows victims of the

deadlying shooting in shares. mourners gathered at the emanuel ame church to remember tywanza sanders and suzie jackson. the reverend jesse jackson spoke at the funeral. this morning a woman in climbing gear scaled up the flag pole at the south carolina state capitol and yanked down the confederate flag. officers arrested her and a man for defacing a monument. a replacement was hoisted up within an hour. nascar plans to remove the confederate flags from all events. the chairman says it's an offensive and insensitive symbol. the next race is tomorrow at the sonoma raceway. >> a business owner sacramento county says he has had a death threat because he is flying a confederate flag. the owns a gun shop in elk grove. the flag is by the front door.

number of people wearing tie-dyed shirts and that because this fashion look was put on the map because of the grateful dead. people say they put on a spontaneous, unforgettable live show and people are here from all over the country just to see the biggest show here in the bay area this weekend. the grateful dead, the first time the core members are playing as the grateful dead, i should say since jerry garcia died in 1995 and the group disbanned. according to stub hub, the tour is commanding more sales per show than any other act on tour this year. and you can thank the loyal deadheads for that. fans have been known to follow the group all over the country. spoke from fans from houston new jersey, new york. fans are celebrating an iconic american rock band and being part of this experience once again. >> 1982 is my first show.

fortunately the giants pulled out the wayne. the shortest outing of his career, tim lincecum was pitching for a spot in the rotation against the rockies but wouldn't last long. the rockiess scored three times on lincecum. timmy would leave in the second after dj lamay hugh sends a shot off his pitching arm. lincecum left with a forearm contusion. that had to hurt. no fracture. petite came on in relief. a trail 5:00 5 -- 5-3 in the fifth, matt duff with the home run. then in the season, the clutch bases loaded double. that will clear the bases. the giants rally to win 7-5, after the contest lincecum talked about his injury.
