man had been shot in the chest and his body had only been in the park for a short time. he's described as a hispanic male. so far no arrests have been made. a false report of a stabbing caused major delays at the civic center bart station following san francisco's pride parade. the delays impacted daily city and east bay sdrexs around 11:00 last night. someone used red pepper which mistook for blood. an investigation e eventually determined that no one had been stabbed. now police believe an argument over a broken car window led to a brawl and shooting in a church parking lot. it happened yesterday afternoon at the church of lather day saints. 20 people were fighting, two men got shot another got hit with a hammer. everyone is expected to survive. three sexual assault victims

plan to file a civil suit against the university of california board of regents this morning. they were all students at cal when they claim they were sexually assaulted. the school didn't do enough to keep them safe. title ix requiring universities to combat gender based violence as a way to ensure that all students get equal access to education. supervisors are scrambling to prevent county workers from going on strike tomorrow. contracts expire tomorrow for 9,000 workers including nurses and other health care providers at valley medical center. union members voted last week to walk off the job. a a state labor board has also been asked to block the strike. the state senate will take up the controversial bill to keep parents from using personal or religious exemptions to keep kids from being vaccinated. it was still allow parents to

decline vaccinations for medi reasons. those opposed to the measure say vaccines are unsafe and they have the right to choose what happened to their kids. if the senate approves the bill, it will be sent to the governor's desk. the city council will consider using affordable housing funds to keep the city's only mobile home park from closing. last month the city council gave the owner permission to sell the property. all 400 residents faced eviction, but last week the board of supervisors voted to set aside money to keep the park open. happening today, nurses will gather at uc children's hospital to express concerns about a proposed arena project at mission bay. nurses are concerned about the kmalkt of planned 12 acres sports and entertainment center could have on patients and workers. . they fear it would limit access to life-saving care.

cover in the distance. it doesn't appear that it's impeding your visibility. you might see fog near the coast. as we move to 580 we have some construction westbound side until 6:00. you can see between high street and grand avenue, construction crews will be out there. remember to please go for the cone zone. if you want to take an alternate. it's 4:37 now. all lanes of 880 in mil paid ya is open following a deadly accident that shut down the northbound lanes for several hours this morning. >> reporter: certainly good news that all lanes are open at 880. this is the morning commute starting to heat up. the bad news overnight someone lost their life in a traffic accident. a person was killed after initial crash between two cars on northbound 880 just north the expressway. those cars were in the middle

lane and more cars hit those cars. the person was killed. the drivers of the original accident got out of the vehicle and was hit by another car while walking on the freeway. the coroner was called this morning. all northbound lanes were blocked off during the beginning of the investigation. chp opened up some lanes during the investigation and just after 3:00 a.m. they opened up the freeway after clearing the scene. no word on the identification of the victim. reporting live matt keller abc 7 news. space x and the faa are conducting an investigation into why a rocket fell from the international space station blew up two minutes after takeoff. it was carrying food and supplies and dissint grated sunday morning. this is the third that's been lost in six months. nasa says the astronaut. s have four months worth of

chaos in istanbul after turkish police hurled tear gas at a parade. police stepped in because people are not allowed to march during ramadan. they accused of officials of not warning them about the policy before the parade. a strong dust storm slammed phoenix leaving thousands of people without power. the dust clouds were seen for miles. the national weather service said speeds were clocked at 40 miles per hour or more. the winds caused widespread damage leaving many to deal with triple digit heat and no air-conditioning air-conditioning. the storm clouded highways and caused heavy downpours. this is the first big dust storm of the monsoon season in arizona. >> we have our own worries with the dry conditions. >> possible lightning strikes sorks that means for any of the dry areas in our bay area neighborhoods, that means possibility of some brush fires. here's a look from sfo as we

take a look at the cloud cover we have covering the bay area. you can see it from the lights of the city. i do not see any delays but i will keep my eyes peeled for that. a look right now at live doppler 7 radar satellite showing we have some returns in terms of low cloud cover. also fog along the coast. and as i pull out to the rest of the area, you might see returns with moisture hanging over the hillside. that's going to create increase as the morning wears on. a look at the golden gate bridge camera. they are making its way to the north bay. more on that in traffic coming up. you can see visibility not impeded. you're at 56. a cool 55. concorde, 5. warmer in livermore. mild as we wake up this morning. but we're going to be talking about some hot conditions as a bubble of high pressure that's

right now we're not seeing any delays as a result. 580 richmond, seven minutes. the san mateo can clear. fishing may be to blame for a recent spike in shark attacks in north carolina. at least six shark attacks in the last two weeks have injured swimmers. experts blame the spike that fishing is permitted on beaches and piers. one of the victims explained what it was like to come face to face with the shark. >> i saw the shark on my left arm. it was half way up my bicep just attached and then it wasn't attached anymore. >> there are now calls to ban fishing in parking lots of north carolina. at least through the july 4th holiday when many people will be hitting the beaches. shark attacks are still considered extremely rare. the odds are 1 in 37 million. in southern california two paddle borders had had an
