first a live lookout side and it's so hot outside. we're seeing triple digit in the east bay and the south bay and some cities are approaching record highs. the temperature and state to issue a flex alert and we're threatened to reuse it when it's at it's highest and then across much of the bay area and several under a heat advisory and then here now with an accurate news update. >> reporter: let's get to the live doppler and i will give you a look under mainly sunny skies and so far this is just so far

the forms that need to be submit today the city the buildings management firm handed over copies of a walk through inspection done in september. the checklist was not as good as the city required or was it done in the city inspection and the city demands because of the walk through inspection city engineers are giving the management another chance to comply with the ordnance. >> we're looking at the ordnance and the staircases and stairways. there's a number of different things that the landlord is required to look into for each property. >> the management has been given until thursday to provide with a new inspection report. the phone calls were not returned. >> one person was injured when a small plane went into a reconvene. this is the video just after the accident and the single engine went down around 11:00 a.m. and

should say and again tomorrow and cooling begins on thursday and we will have a seasonal pattern and that's july fourth. this is what is going on and it's affecting the pattern now and for the next few days and a large high pressure that's centered over utah and huge hot air masses and it's expanding westward through much of the state of california and into the bay area. the clockwise circumstance lace is also bringing some subtropical cloudy ps into the bay area that we're seeing now. here is a forecast starting at 11:00 tonight and we will see the passage over night and then on thursday also is the beginning of the cooling, so we will have a few extra clouds and the lower temperature range. tonight nothing low about these and we will celos in the upper 50s to mid-60s and the fog to the coast. tomorrow look for a high in the

low 90s in san jose and 102 and then we will see upper 80s and mid-to upper 60s on the coast and then coastal fog for tomorrow. the downtown is a high of 71 tomorrow. we will see 96 up north and 94 at napa and over in the east bay and highs in in the valley and 87 for union city and once again there's highs just about all locations at or above 100 degrees and 105 at brentwood. there's a nice cool down and about ten degrees or so in the area. still mid-90s and then friday and the fourth of july weekend and then mid-70s and there will be further er cooling yet and so this wave of excessive heat is winding down by the end of the week. >> all right. thank you.
