abc 7 news starts right now with live breaking news. breaking news in the east bay. these ariels from a sky 7 hd over the police activity in oakland where they were facing a huge line of cash and fireworks from a home. one officer said that it was the biggest bust that she has seen. $50,000 in fireworks. go men worked with multiple felonies. praising the one of the departments special investigation and rook at all of this. the bomb squad is at the scene

the one thing that's nost changed is the undying love for her children. >> the one thing that i remember is his eye. >> the two flew in this morning. he first went missing when he was 3 years old and been living in mexico with his father all these years. she had an abusive relationship with the father and someone that kidnapped him. >> his dad was going on vacation and had permission to take him. it was just a normal day. i did not know that he was never coming back. >> he is now trying to get over the panful past and focus on the future with her son. >> he said that he is happy because he is with me. >> they have so much to do as jonathan recalls memory playing with the favorite toys and remembering what he was like to be with his mom. >> it was our first kiss with

drizzle pocket and long the creek and 680 right now getting a little bit of wet weather. a live lookout side and showing you the clouds and we're on the way to a nice afternoon and a lot of folks are preparing for a long holiday weekend. we will detail that coming up. this morning's lightening may have started a brush fire. it was over the area this morning and the fire broke out around 440 and it's grown to 45 acres. four different crews are battling the blaze. o officials think that it started as two separate fires and then went into one. the latest on a shooting death of the ferry building. the police questioned a person of interest in the far from a poplar tourist area and they're looking for more evidence right now. amy joins us live now from pier 14, amy.

>> reporter: yeah, behind me you can see the police. they have been in the boat ka patrolling the area. they have been here for an hour or two and controlling the waters and looking for something and officials tell us that it's connected to last night's murder and they're looking for evidence possibly the epp. the woman was killed here on pier 14 and tourists and locals alike like coming here. we're nefrksxt to the ferry building. no one can believe that a murder happened here. witnesses say that the 31-year-old woman was here and taking on the sights when she was shot. witnesses saw the man run away from the scene and they were able to alert the police that did take someone in for questioning. this morning people are telling us that they could not believe that this would happen here. we're thinking it of pretty nice here and pretty upscale.

and pistol whip him. the robber took both of the cameras at gun point and jumped in with two inside. no one else was injured and a magazine from a handgun was found on the ground. police collected the magazine and took witness statements at the scene. today a judge denied a restraining order against the district attorney's office. it was filed where a balance ka nir collapsed two weeks ago. segway construction wants to keep investigators from examining without them being present. they are conducting a criminal investigation. liver moore police need help in finding three teens that

stole. liver more police posted this photo saying that the teen ran out of the store without paying on june 14th. here are the other two suspects captured by can camera on blooming dales at the outlets. the suspects got away with a late model four door car and a gray honda sick civic. there's a lock down and started by a reported gunfire. abc 7 keller explained that trigger a major police response. this happened less than two years after a violent incident that has herch on edge. >> it was not a drill. reported gunfire lead to the massive police response and lock down at the washington navy yard. employeeing were immediately told to shelter in place. >> we herd someone yelling get out of the building and after a few tense hours law enforcement said that a person inside the complex thought that she had

kbun shots and called 911. a strong reaction from numerous agencies comes less than two years after a military contractor that shot and killed two workers at the same navy yard. >> having spent a lot of time at the navy yard, it appears that all of the things that we tried coto correct from the last incident was very very well. >> this comes as the u.s. officials are warning for the terror attack and the fourth of july weekend. a bullet was sent to be on alert for isis inspired attacks. in the news room with abc 7 news. the university of california system has admitted more than 113,000 students for the fall. it's admitting more than 92,000 freshman and 21,000 community transfers at the ten campuses. u.s. burkely's class will total
