after an early problem because of a pressure five in san francisco that has cleared. the bay bridge toll plaza shows it is busy but normal from east bay to san francisco. if you are in the east bay we have a major traffic advisory shutting down highway 84 at vineyard avenue. again, that is due to an early crash involving 54 vehicles and overturned big rig and the road will not be open until noon. i have the details on that in a few minutes. more on what leyla was talking about, the fire near the glen park bart station with amy hollyfield with how the situation looks now. amy? >> yes, as first they were told this would be major delays but the commuters we have talked to all sound very calm and took it in stride. the passengers are sleepy this morning and some were not aware

what was going on and a woman said she was asleeped and she was not keeping up on what was going on and a lot of people are going through the motions but it could have been a crisis but it was averted there was a fire at 5:55 and a train operator called it and called it in. they stopped the plains between glen park and balboa, a vegetation fire. officials got it out and bart officials got the fire out and trains running again but a man was caught up in the delay. a couple of delays and that is it. >> did they tell you what was happening? something about a fire on the tracks and what was the reaction? >> it did not present a danger. relaxed commuters and the fire

is out. no damage to the train or tracks but the asuit train operator was alert and noticed the surroundings and got it taken care of. there were several shootings that left a man dead and four others injured including a teen. it happened last night in an area known as the iron triangle a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex and a teen was wounded. hours later three more were shot in the same area. the victims are expected to survive. investigators hope to talk to the witnesses to see if the shootings are connected. >> san jose and the police and fire unions have until the end of the day today to negotiate a deal on pension reform and avoid going to court. the two side have been meeting privately to settle disputes
