a suspected burglar is if jail after a high speed chase with alameda sheriff deputies after spotting a vehicle before 10:00 p.m. matching the description of a vehicle used in a string of residential burglaries. deputies tried to pull over the driver and the pursuit helped in walnut creek weapon the suspect crashed. the driver ran away and was found a short time later inside a bar. authorities found miscellaneous rot in the vehicle. >> a 20-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in antioch and ran into a business for help. police found the victim inside the business on sycamore drive at 10:00 after being shot multiple time. man was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive. police have made no arrests. officers are following up on leads and interviewing witnesses. >> san francisco-based ride share uber and regulators could be headed for a collision in court. meteorologist mike nicco is at

mineta san jose international airport. >> the san jose city council gave the green light to uber to pick up passengers at mineta san jose international airport. the company has to clear another hurdle with the state or face the threat of being shut down in california. a law judge fined the taxi $7.3 million and threatened to suspend the operation in 30 days. the judge agreed that uber has not filed all required reports such as high often it provided disabled abscessible vehicles and where drivers town down requests and the cause of accidents. uber say they provided sufficient information but the jam said it was not enough. the company plans to appeal. the penalties not in affect until the final action on the appeal. the company said uber has provided substantial data and going further risks compromising the privacy of individual riders and driver partners.
