miles away from here where police may have found the suspect's vehicle, a white pickup truck at 98th and eads with bullet holes on the driver side the truck. at sketch of the shooting in hair our camera saw what appears to be the hayward officer being taken away by ambulance. neighbors describe hearing multiple shots fired early this morning and a neighbor also telling us that he heard a police officer yelling "stops freeze," during the exchange of gunfire. myrtle street is closed and hayward police have yet to confirm if an officer indeed, has been shot and if so what the condition of the officer is at this time. we are continuing to gather more information out here and we will have updates for you throughout the morning. new this morning, fires in delay he went to work putting out the fire bunking in a

kids who attend this school. the kids club preschool will be moving today. they moving vans show up this morning because the school district in antioch provided the space for the school for the last ten years but needs the space back. the preschool has to move and has not been able to find another affordable space. the school is funded by the state and provides free preschool to 200 kids. officials are worried what will happen to the kids. a lot of the par weres can not afford to pay for pre-school. pre-school officials have tried, the city council the school board, privately owned buildings, so far though no luck. today they will update us on their latest efforts as they pack boxes and move out of here. stay with us as we continue to follow the developing story. 6:04 happening today the school board will take a look at ways to stay money on student transportation according to the

press -- the board has permission to study to look at how much money it could save by joining forces with the west county transportation agency which already serves 16 school districts. the santa rosa school district spends a little over $5 million a year on school bus programs and board members are looking to trim more than $1 million off the price. >> morgan hill police are asking for the public's help to identify a man caught on surveillance video trying to break into a home 11 days ago. the home owner's security camera captured suspect walking by the fence and looks into the camera. the morgan hill police posted the video on the facebook page hoping someone will recognize the man. >> thieves struck again at uc berkeley and swiped computers from the school of bus after smashing a window yesterday morning. campus police say computers vanished for more than 20 offices and the thefts follow other break-ins with witnesses being smashed at several buildings. miss have no suspects.

murder-suicide among two young people at the problem door of this home yesterday morning. scott bertics shot and killed 19 year old clare orton and turned the gun on himself. they were in a relationship. both are good kids. we saw her running through the neighborhood if her practices and just a wonderful family and a wonderful daughter. >> no parties. no fast driving. no nothing. just nice kids. >> the family lives in this gated community. scott bertics lived in sanford. orton was going to san diego university. there were no restraining orders related to the pair. >> the man accused of killing kate steinle on pier 14 is expected to be in court this morning. kate's dad of pleasanton testified in front of the senate judiciary committee discussing the death and push are for change to immigration policy. francisco sanchez the suspect in
