20 miles per hour. now a check on the only commute. leyla? >> we will start in the north bay, taking out 101 to san rafael pushing to 580 with traffic light and accident free so far this morning. coming up to the golden gate bridge, check it out the truck is making its way to the north end of the bridge to expand southbound lanes. head to the far right-hand side in the northbound or southbound traffic and 45 minutes from tracy to dublin but everything else is running at close to posted speed. >> thank you leyla. 500 firefighters are battling the fire that is just spreading near lake berryessa in 14 hours since breaking out. it has moved quickly burning at least 6,000 acres since yesterday afternoon around 3:00. more than 500 firefighters on the scene and it is only a percent contained. >> others are on way from as far

away as san diego threat being 200 structures and an outbuilding has been destroyed and a home has been damaged. >> we bring in the north bay incident management team. good morning, paul, thanks for joining us. fires hoped overnight that the wildfire will sit down so they can catch up with it. is that what is happening? >> that is what we are hoping to hear back from the crews when they come off the fire line. we had pretty significant fire into the night which is not what we hoped for. we hoped it would lay down but we had some good fire behavior and it kept us off the line until it calms down overnight. >> what is the big concern today? >> the winds. the winds were concern yesterday and we hope the winds do not do what though did yet and we have calmer winds. the terrain is challenging and hopefully the winds will

eric thomas. >> i am matt keller here for kristen sze on thursday, july 23 with the weather having a major impact on firefighting efforts. mike? >> yes, unfortunately for the firefighters the wind stayed up during overnight. they are blowing from the southwest to northeast at 11 to 20 miles per hour with the humidity up and temperatures down to 51. but that the reverse. humidity will corner into 30 percent range and temperatures jumping into the 80s and the winds will continue flirting with ten miles per hour and guffs up to 20 to 25 in the afternoon. time for traffic. leyla? we will talk about closures. as we take you to the north by you can see that we have purple outlines here and we have roads closed along highway 1128 at wragg canyon so be prepared and do not head into the location.

have quite a fight on their hands today. >> the winds were of concern today and we hope they do not do what they did yesterday and we have calmer winds. the terrain is challenging. hopefully the winds diminish. >> they are fighting this from the air as well as on the ground and they property in six air tankers to tackle this. at this point they say one building has been damaged and it looks like an outhouse building and -- rather a home was damaged and an outhouse was damaged. campers and hikers have been evacuated. along with some homes. it is very smoky here. you can see some of the smoke is visible from interstate 80 near vacaville. we will give you reports on how much progress they are making in the fire today.
