live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> it is muggy thursday morning. we thank you for the company. i am eric thomas. >> i am matt keller. i am here for kristen sze. a check on the weather and traffic. mike? >> good morning buys. back to yesterday look at change that came. you can see the roaring and rolling clouds along the marine layer and the cooling effect it brought. most of us are dealing with cloud cover along the bay in the north bay along 101 and along the coast. it is pretty dry even with the humidity creeping in. here is the forecast, you can see the ferry building and all blacks pointing to the east the next 12 hours we will have cloud cover increasing through 7:00 56 to 64 so mild to warm in the coast and inland and by noon the low clouds are pack to the coast 66 to 84. we will see a transition to high clouds but for the coast with the low clouds remaining.

>> thank you leyla. it is look 5:00. in san jose, police are investigating a fatal stabbing in east san jose. authorities were called to the area near interstate 680 and alum rock avenue after 2:00 for reports of a fight. the suspect took off before police got this. >> three law enforcement presentations and a funeral is held for sergeant scott lunger the 15 area veteran of the hayward police department shot and killed during a traffic stop. janet o is in hayward with how the community is remembering him and supporting his fellow officers. >> good morning, matt, many are remembering sergeant scott lunger especially here in this community that he served. he was pa will fromming the streets of hayward and considered a labor of love. at the chapel of chimes in hair many community members are expected to turnout and show their support as the procession begins in a few hours.
