frustrated. they do not want to live in the middle of a skim scene. >> san francisco residents trying to catch a bus were greeted by crime tape with bullets shattering the glass at the shelter. the two men were shot. it was a reminder this morning of the violence that plagues this neighborhood. >> the neighbor, mission, is from daylight to dark, in day it is okay but after dark, you do not want to be caught here. >> the two men are in stable condition, 35-year-old was shot in the foot and a 54-year-old in the chest. police are looking into whether it was gang-related and who was the target. even if the attack was personality had an impact on the public. >> i pull the blinds open and i look up and i see this huge

area. >> the transbay tube connecting oakland and san francisco re-opened this morning after being shut down over the maybe day weekend for major improvements. abc7 news reporter joins us from the embarcadero. the commuters notice a difference in the ride? >> when bart opened at 4:00 this morning, they had to test the tracks. that caused some delays for some of the legal trains frustrating people and delaying their commute to work by as long as 45 minutes. after the morning commute, some people are saying they notice a small difference in the ride. the transbay tube and tens of thousands of bart riders are back at work after a long holiday weekend. the park closed the tube for labor day weekend to put down 12,000' of rail. bart said this will make for a smoother and safer ride. what do the regular riders say? we were with the packed crowd at

west oakland to find out. laura works in the city. >> do you notice a difference? >> not at the moment, you still get the "pop," when you go in the tunnel on your ears but it doesn't sound so noisy. >> does it feel smoother? >> not so bumpy so, yes, it does. >> unfortunately the new track cannot make it keel are or less packed. common complaints we heard on the ride over. but this still beating sitting on the bay bridge in traffic. >> we can take it. we are tough. >> there was major dust issue at the embarcadero station this morning causing a lot of eye watering and coughing and scratchy throats and people trying to get up to the surface level here. bart officials say they have cleared that up and turned on the vice presidentlation system.

earthquake not far from where a 2.9 magnitude earthquake hit yesterday between sonoma and nap what with no energize -- injuries or dams. >> did not feel it, though. >> something we will all feel today the intense feet, several days of dangerous conditions. >> and meteorologist mike nicco is outside to tell us more. mike? >> i will start with the heat advisory because it just started at 11 o'clock at the top of the show. we are now into the most dangerous part of the day, now until 7:00, not only today but, also, tomorrow, in the area shaded in orange, that is where you need to be worried it is everywhere outside of the coast, risk of heat-related illnesses is going up quickly all the way through the evening hours. plenty of fluids if you are outside and find some shade if you can. that will be tough to do. as far as our air pollution, the 5th summer "spare the air" alert, right nows all five regions are good. but if you can limit driving and take mass transit that would

help. here is a look at walnut creek an area that could have poor air quality today, inland east bay in the santa clara valley, we will add the central valley possibly tomorrow and thursday and we will ronnel it out on friday, with maybe our 4th "spare the air" in a row. >> thank you. sky 7 was over a crash involving four vehicles and a tour bus in san francisco today. the crash happened at 8:15 at fulton and the cross over, fire officials say two people were taken to local hospital force treatment with no word, yet, on the cause. >> the tuck clerk who refused to issue same-sex marriage marriage listens is a free woman. at any moment kim davis will walk out of the detention center, a large crowd of her supporters gathered outside of the jail and the judge letter out because her county is issues marriage licenses to anyone and on the condition she does not interfere in anyway with that process. davis had denied the licenses to gay couples saying it goes against her religious beliefs. >> police are investigating a deadly shooting, and antioch

police responded to the avenue around 1:40 and found the man suffering a gunshot wound. he died in front of the home and not identified yet, so far, no arrests have been made in the shooting. >> a tragic boating accident that took the life of a san francisco man and sent his girlfriend and two others to the hospital remains under investigation. the sister of one of the victims is now speaking publicly for the first time. janet o joins us from the newsroom with the story. >> kelly wells is in the hospital unaware of what happened and unable to speak. her sister said worst of all she does not know her other half did not survive the fatal boating accident. >> a young couple in love and she has not found out michael harris, her boyfriend has died, bracing to break the horrible news. >> it will be hard to tell her michael's life is over but hers is not. >> the two pictured here in happy are times were dating for two years, and had plans to move

in together in san francisco. harris is the son of former 49ers c.e.o. peter harris. over the holiday weekend, the couple were boating off catalina island and their dinghy collided with a larger vessel. investigators are not sure if either of them were using lights at the time. the operator of the larger boat suffered minor injuries. the fatal collision took the life of harris, injured wells and two other trends. a search recovery effort is now underway for the 5th friend missing at sea. >> it is a lot of questions for us but it is mostly painful for us not knowing what happened to the other. >> her younger sister decided michael as too good to be true, together the perfect couple. >> we knew that was her future, michael was her future. it is going to be an overhaul of everything that she knew. >> the harris family is still grieving the loss of their-ed

we have breaking news right now. the marin county sheriff has con filled to abc that a body has been found near angel island. sky 7 is over the scene where you can see a boat taking off and in the back is what we believe to be the body bag they were referring to after discovering a body this morning. crews from several bay area agencies, of course, have been searching for miss san francisco man. we are talking about wouter van lier. officials have not confirmed if the body found was that of wouter van lier. we can tell you that the 42-year-old map was last seen yesterday morning on a boat while on a camping trap. the wife reported him missing. you can follow us on twitter@abc7newsbayarea for the latest. >> a minnesota didn'tive was back to work after worldwide white civil if the killing of line line. a few protesters were at the clinton. he said he did not know that he
