growing. we have breaking news from hayward and unincorporated community of alameda county right here, firefighters are on the scene of a house fire with flames reported at 3:15. all the residents got out savely. calls have gone out to the sheriff and arson investigator. these are incredible pictures. the house fire in unincorporated hayward there. >> police in the north bay are investigating a pay of frightening home invasion robberies one in sausalito, another in tiburon the night before. amy hollyfield is in sausalito with more. amy? >> yes, they are trying to figure if they are connected. they say they do have some things in common including the maps show how close together the two are. we had one in sausalito, and we had one in tiburon. police are looking into the possibility that they are related. in sausalito, look at the video,

police had guns drawn. they searched for the thief. they brought out the police dog on central avenue last night. it was 8:00. police say that the woman was home at the time and they believe she startled the man who had a pistol. she was making her way toward him and she was yelling at him and they say he ran out of there and did not take a thing. the tiburon incident, a woman was hope and was locked in a closet as the man searched the home and stole her jewelry. she said he had a gun, his face was covered up by a bandanna, the same situation, and this was at indian rock court which happened at 9:15 at night. no arrests in either incident. police say they are would being the cases very carefully. >> thank you. this is the first full day in
