gudalupe mines road. san francisco police are asking for help identifying the driver in a hit and run collision that critically injured a pedestrian. police say the pedestrian was struck about 10:45 near rice street. the 31-year-old man remains in the hospital with still life-threatening injuries. the police have not tracked the driver or the vehicle down. but they say it looks like this one, a sonic blue ford ranger, model year 2001 to 2005 with damage to its right front corner. >> this is disturbing. 49-year-old joseph barbier was taken into custody yesterday and charged with more than two dozen counts of invasion of privacy with a covert camera.

the camera was discovered in a resident's hall bathroom. they claim he used signs to redirect unsuspecting victims to that restroom. at least two of the victims were minors. and a sexually violent predator could soon be out on the street living adds a transient. officials are having a hard time finding a place for the rapist to live. >> classes resumed today after a complete safety overhaul. the school had been closed since last friday, as we reported to you, after allegations an 8-year-old student was molested there. the school at that time admitted it failed to complete background checks on all of its employees. all checks are now done, we understand. the school fired this man, 18-year-old jonathan chow and two other employees.

she broke her collarbone and damaged an artery. posted a picture that he suffered as a cut to his face. he was lucky, really. four people were killed when a tour vehicle collided with a tour bus. >> a man and his dog had to wade to safety after the boat where they lived tipped over in oakland this morning. oakland police tweeted out a picture showing the boat. you can see it tilted on its side there. the out going tide left the boat high and dry causing the boat to tip over. >> the big rig fire that happened last night during the commute off highway 101 in petaluma. look at all of this smoke. the poultry truck put out thick, black smoke right next to a gas station and an apartment complex. the petaluma fire department

took these pictures. now, the fire came within 20 feet of the gas pumps. the driver says he had done some welding on the truck before driving in yesterday. no chickens were inside. no one was hurt. >> more than 4100 firefighters are on the front line trying to maintain 200 firefighters. the fire is 90% contained. residents in cobb will be home tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. firefighters expect to fully contain it by the end of next week. >> while a middle town rancher sure has a tale to tell as he chased his horse across town. little did he know, the horse and animal rescuers were already two steps ahead of him. abc 7 news reporter to explain.
