the scene but there is still an active investigation and you can see the mess that is in the pulled of the road a couple of vehicles stuck and officers in the area. here is how it started. san francisco 3-d got a car of an auto burglary at midnight and the officer arrived, got out of the car to investigate, and that is when a person in a vehicle tried to drive away and hit the officer and pinning him up against the patrol vehicle. the auto burglar hit the second patrol vehicle but could not escape. the injured officer was taken to the hospital with broken ribs and possible leg injury. he is stable. twoors were detained and police are not looking for anyone else. these are narrow streets. officers continue their investigation and it will take a while to get the vehicles out of the middle of the road so they

will be closed until that takes place. >> police are looking for a brazen armed robber caught on camera during a terrifying attack against the homeowner in san francisco. he spoke exclusively to abc7. janet is here with the interview you will see only on 7. >> it happened in the sunset district out of nowhere, a man comes charging at bill with a gun and this is what happened all caught on surveillance inside the garage where you can see the two men wrestling are forever minutes. the suspect is wear the friar hoodie. bill was determined not to be the victim and focused on getting the gun out of the attacker's hand. >> i was almost lake taking something from a child, i learned from my kids, something they have, i want it. >> but he said it wasn't that easy and he was fearing for his life the entire time.
