one person is dead after a head on car crash on the sanford campus. the driver was killed and was driving a nissan. the driver of the other car is in contribute condition and that cause is still under investigation. the father of one of the three teenagers who died from a street racing cash. >> may he rest at peace and i give it up to god. >> you can see the cloud on the can candle, joe sanchez ramos joined the site of the crash to mourn the loss of the teen, including his son.

the three died when the honda they were in spun out of control and ran into a tree. investigators say they were involved in street racing. police are still looking for the driver of a second car involved. some residents in to the castro district say a sewage problem could damage a piece of art. >> reporter: the plaques along castro street with were designed to be walked own but not like this. construction work requiring power tools and heavy machinery. a project has left the -- it's dirty, surrounded by trash and wood and possibly damaged. >> it's a slap in the face for the artist that put this

a piece of sidewalk. sacramento police released these images of two men suspected of stabbing a hero. stone was stabbed three times while protecting a friend outside a sacramento bar on october 8. he was released from the hospital just this week. you remember stone and two other friends stopped a terrorist attack on a train in august. police are looking for whoever vandalized a controversial figure. a statue was also defaced last month. he was cannonized by pope frances just last month. crews are working to fix that massive sink hole.

it's now gone to 35 feet by 40 feet since it was first discovered on wednesday. repair crews are trueing to shore up the sides of the sink hole and fix damaged water and sewer pipes inside. progress is being made in southern california to clean up the massive mudslides from earlier this week. state road 58 remains closed walloped with mud as much as 5 feet in some spots. here's the latest on those cl n cleanup efforts. >> reporter: crews are racing against the clock and mother nature. saturday morning, construction equipment arriving to aid in the digout before another round of weather hits. >> they're expecting more rain this afternoon.
