matt, what is going on? >> firefighters are still battling flames and you can see they have lower withed their ladder on top of of the of radio of the barber shop to break through the roof and get to the flames from above. you have firefighters on the ground spraying their hoses up at flames trying to get this fire out. it started before 5:00 a.m. and here it is 6:30. they have been battling all morning long two-alarm fire? any veil the department of public safety arrived on the scene. they saw it fully engulfed in the barber shop. there is a grocery store and liquor store and taco shop. the flames we saw weapon we first arrived on the scene half an hour ago and this has been a tough fire. tough to get to. they plain the front on the difficulty. that is why they are fighting defensively.

it would not take much to come down. they are keeping firefighters outside of the building. they are fighting it from above. they are fighting it from below. no word on the cause of the fire. extensive damage to the place where they think it started inside the barber shop which is destroyed. other businesses have flame damage. this is fire damage. there is smoke damage. they could be able to rebuild but the barber shop is destroyed. there is an alley behind the strip mall and behind that is an apartment complex. no concerns for the apartment complex but firefighters are over had keeping an eye in case embers note over but the apartment complex is not evacuated and the residents are still inside. the firefighters out here in sunnyvale expect to be here for a couple more hours. the road is blocked off. fair oaks is still open to traffic. expect delays.
