only one of the people in the house pulled out a gun and shot the homeowner. >> the resident aparentally returned home not knowing burglarers had turned in. and he ran into three suspects as they were preparing to leave. san jose police are not sure what led one of the burglarers to use the gun on the homeowner. pligs say the man's wound is not life threatening. >> now we have to be alert, you moe. >> i'm very concerned. i own a day care. so the state law is you can't lock your doors or anything. i'm sorry, i'm locking my doors. >> other than a husband and wife

bacterial illness now stands at 110. 92 of them in santa clara. officials have confirmed 24 cases and police expect to see additional cases coming in the days ahead. >> in this outbreak, because we now know there are over a hundred people who are ill. it's so important to get the message out how important hand washing is. >> the restaurant in san jose, at least two diners, have filed lawsuits against the restaurant which has been closed by the health department. >> a woman who lives in this home is fighting for her life after police say she was severely beaten by her husband. d 63-year-old woman showed up at the hospital with internal injuries to her head and torso. she told the hospital her husband assaulted her. her conditioned worsened dramatically while she was being treated. >> over the night, while she was

documents. they all rely on one ohio vendor for bank note paper. but that company unexpectedly went out of business. they have to use bank note paper to print official documents. >> it's the type of paper and the type of print. i believe it's like the paper that's similar to paint it on. the paper will be gone by the end of business today. they're urging residents to turn to the state public health department. a big paper order from a canadian supplier won't arrive until late next month. >> for months we've been hoping and hoping and hoping for some rain. >> all right. larry, we're keeping hope alive. let's put it that way. we have a few clouds in the sky. we expect more clouds to arrive.

these are our forecast pictures, it will be mild to warm again tomorrow. it will be a little bit cloudier and a little bit cooler. we're now looking at a chance of rain an ex tuesday and wednesday. let's go to the tropic pacific. powerful and dangerous hurricane before. look at how defined the eye of that storm is. it's centered south right now and poses a huge threat to western and central mexico. it's expected to take a path as a category 4 that will make land fall sometime late tomorrow. and, of course, this storm can produce massive and widespread flooding as a category four storm. so we'll continue to watch that storm frp you, and give reports on any damage that occurs. back closer to home, i should say, high pressure building back briefly. mostly sunny and mild weather. but that high pressure is about to be overrun by tomorrow.
