out of the south bay, our reporter is in san jose where crews have knocked down an early morning gas fire. -- grass fire. >> it was a big scene this morning, about 65 firefighters were here off of santa teresa boulevard fighting a wildfire in the santa teresa foothills but last half hour several of the fire crews have been released from the scene and cal fire is making sure there is a line around the fire. check out this video from 4:00 a.m., this is what fires saw when they first arrived on the cent. they were battling two flanks, one on the authority side one on the south side and contained the five or six acre fire in an hour. but they are being extra careful. >> we will have our units out here until dawn and well ensure we are looking for hotspots and making sure we we have criminal and when day height comes we

will have units in the air for a better feel of what is going on. >> in structures were threatened. the closest homes are a quarter-mile mile away. high voltage lines are in the area so they are being extra careful. santa teresa boulevard is now open to traffic. this man, wanted for murder is still loose. 18-year-old jason brown of oakland is one of two machine were whatted in a double shooting in livermore that left one person dead and the second injured on saturday. brown is wanted for are murder in fresno. police locked down the area in oakland for six hours while they served a warrant at his hope. they did not find him. the livermore shooting happened at the c.v.s. parking lot on 1st street. the second suspect has not been identified. the two armed with an assault rifle. >> east palo alto police are investigating the shooting that

it hit an unidentified object off the hong kong western's coast, the fourth crash in two years. hong kong suffered the biggest tragedy in 2012 when a boat collided with a commuter ferry killing 39 people. >> 25-year-old accused of plowing into a crowd at a him coming parade will appear in court today. officials say four people were killed and dozens of others were injured when chambers' car drove into the crowd. her lawyer believes she suffers from mental illness and does not think alcohol is factor. police are waiting drug tests to determine if she was impaired by drugs or alcohol. >> a controversial bear hunt in florida has been called off after hunters took a surprisingly high number of animals. wildlife officials opened the hunt on saturday and it was supposed to last a week but it was called off last night. officials say in two days hunters killed 300 bears setting
