but everyone make sure you are safe. in palo alto, haz-mat are trying to determine the source of an odor that sent a dozen to the hospital, several people complains of breaking problems after breathing a chemical smell at the upscale westin hotel at 9:00. 12 were taken to local hop hospitals. the heating and cooling system was turned off as a precaution. the area is deemed safe. our reporter is there with a report at 5:30. >> a truck driver is getting a reckless driving ticket for slamming into half a dozen parked cars in san francisco. police say the driver got off highway 101. he got to 18th and rhode island he was going too fast he

tomorrow. i will have an hour-by-hour halloween forecast and cooler weather on sunday and rain on monday. >> we are taking you into san jose on 280 at the park, 280, northbound, headlights pulling away from 880 traffic manageable. we see more car on the road but everyone is moving loan fine and not going to take you much time. southbound traffic is pretty light as you make it up to 880 and highway 17. we head over to emeryville and berkeley this is university avenue the center of activity with a couple of big rigs. they had a fender bender and pushed over to the shoulder and we hearing about four vehicles on the westbound side but they are not blocking any lanes and now we just have a stream of more traffic from albany right through berkeley. to the north, westbound i-80 san pablo dam road a couple of cars blocking one lane and slow just behind it.
