aggressive raccoons on the attack in san francisco. an out of town visitor has to undergo rabies treatment. good evening. i'm natasha in ama daetz. >> the city is not doing enough to deal with the raccoon problem. >> reggie is live tonight in the city's richmond district. reggie? >> if you are wondering how dangerous can rack n coulds -- raccoons be? they were walking back to the house where they are staying a couple blocks away where a group of raccoons july ped -- jumped them. >> they came out one after the other. >> just as brandon told ease where the attack happened two raccoons popped out of the exact same spot. last night it was a completely different story. >> how many do you think attacked you? >> in the group there was at least 12 to 15 in the group. there was four vicious, big

raccoons who were doing the fighting. >> his wife who didn't want to go on camera is still very shaken up, and she showed us where doctors had to give her painful rabies treatments. one of the dogs they were with had trouble walking and the other gave a bigger scare. >> we thought he was gonna gone. they dragged him away. >> this is thought a one-time incident. two months ago one street away a similar attack on a different couple also lead them to the hospital with precautionary rabies treatments. some ask if the city is doing enough. >> i got uh -- uh hold of animal care control they promised to do a training out here and we were looking for a site to do the training and i never heard back. >> for now there doesn't seem to be a solution. they warn anyone passing through here of the danger lurking between the buildings. abc7 news. >> new at 11:00, right now police are on the lookout for a gunman who shot two people

in san francisco. this happened at filmore and turk. you can see the block is closed off there. one of the victims is a juvenile and the other is 19 years old and has life-threatening injuries. >> the state has pulled the liquor license from a restaurant after the death of this man. he was shot and killed outside lou beer club and restaurant where he was celebrating a sale. police are still searching for the gunman. last month the shooting injured two people outside that restaurant. they pulled the license because they allow edition orderly conditions. police say a man was stabbed many times outside his car with his five-year-old child in the backseat. he says he he was just defending himself. sergio explained that this all started with road rage.

>> it happened in a neighborhood that looks like a safe place for trick or treat -- trick-or-treaters. >> there were police with the shotguns and they were going around the neighborhood. >> investigators say the 21-year-old was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after he stabbed a man several times in front of his house. the man who was stabbed had his 5-year-old son in his backseat. the child watched the whole thing. painter was released on bond, but when went to his home no one went to the door. he did talk with our media partner, the san jose media news. >> the man cu man cut him off ad then followed him to his neighborhood. that man then attacked him this his own front yard so he pulled the pocket knife to defend himself. he told the mercury news that a child was in the other vehicle. it befudled me he did what he

did when he had the kid in the car. it is 137% self-defense. the guy was on my property attacking me. police say painter's parents stopped the fight and called 9-1-1. he was sent to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. abc7 news. new tonight hundreds of wind turbines in the altimont pass are set to be turned off this weekend. they will be turned off on november 1st because of the impact it is having on birds. the u.s. fish and wildlife department says they were associated with the injury or the death of 67 golden eagles. it is illegal to kill an eagle. boaters are warned to stay away from the bay bridge next weekend. that's when cal trans will close the largest peer that once held the old eastern span of the bridge. chp boats will enforce the 1500 foot area around the

implosion area. >> well, dozens of artists put their work on display only to cover it all up. abc7 news was in the south of market neighborhood for tonight's whiteout. more than 90 works were draped in white and hidden from view. the artists say the color white represents a lack of diversity. they say artists are losing their spaces and being pushed out of the city by the high cost of rent. the biggest critical mass ride of the year backed up traffic throughout san francisco. here is new video. the halloween ride is usually the most popular of the year. the riders go all out. they dress up in costumes and many dress up their bikes as well. >> hard to ride with all of that on you. well in the east bay a teenager's haunted house will be spooking the neighborhood this halloween despite his neighbor's objections. >> the city of albany finally granted the teen a permit.

alan? >> dan and natasha, sam bubois and his production successfully spooked their neighborhood tonight and they will do it again tomorrow night. despite his hard work and good intentions he learned not everybody appreciates his work. it is a haunted house that scares up neighborhood volunteers in albany and benefits the alameda county community food bank. >> i think it is a sign of a great community. i was impressed. >> reporter: sam dubois started this haunted house a few years ago and this year it was met by complaint from the crowd and the building code violations. despite one neighbor's appeal, they issued a permit allowing him to operate tonight and halloween night from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. but he had to meet several fire and safety code requirements. >> i have learned a lot about city government, both fire code and city code and gist

mild to warm day. itit is not quite as warm especially along the coast. a winter-like storm bringing the cold air with it and you will notice the changes and feel the difference. not immediately until sunday. you will be looking at 60s and seven-day forecasts at 5:00 p.m. right around the time they are taking the kids out. a little fog is rolling in and then as we head toward the evening hour as we head to a costumes party high clouds coming in on top of the fog and along the coast. 50s and 60s and still getting cooler by 9:00 p.m. sunday is what we are watching. the cold front up to the north at 7:00 a.m. it starts to drop southward and then the rain line starts to shift south. you will notice that by late sunday night all of the bay area is getting wet and the sierra is getting mixed precipitation. rain and snow and then eventually just snow. showers will follow on monday and then you will notice the
