mile away from north greenville road. they are trying to get back on the road. the eastbound traffic is moving well. we do have video from north flynn road. we were able to get a mile and ten minutes or so on the frontage road but those stuck back there and on 580 it is a nightmare. you are crawling. as people get to the front they can get beyond the police cars and speed off but we are talking about five-hour delays. a nightmare for monday morning, the first work week of november. hopefully they will get the big rig up, get it cleared, and it could be several hours before that takes place. if you can avoid this area and avoid driving, do so because it is not fun sitting in traffic on

live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. we start with a picture from livermore where there is a major backup on interstate 580 after a big rig crash. you can see there is an overturned truck in the picture and cars are stalled. matt kellerer will have a report in a moment, but, first, over to leyla who has been track that and other trouble spots. >> we will take you over to the altamont pass and we have a new update it looks likely and four lanes, the numbers three and the number four lanes are now open so that should allow traffic to head through. now, new information i do not believe we had before that one of big rigs involved was carrying chickens. so it looks like they have a clean up in progress as you make your drive in the westbound direction, from tracy to dublin, it will take you five hours. a lot of people are skipping it
