abc7 news begins with breaking news. the breaking news is if san jose, look at this, a huge traffic mess right now on interstate 880, a big rig hit several vehicles, spun around, and then hit several more creating a major headache for drivers. thanks pore joining us. >> i am kristen sze. >> we get to leyla gulen for the latest on the breaking news. >> as we look at sky 7, that is a lack at southbound side of 880 as you head into milpitas, are we have a sig-alert and fatal motorcycle crashed that is blocking two lands at 237. you can see the massive backup.

it is tremendous. up ahead we had an early sig-alert that canceled. it was a big rig. it was taken earlier, this video but we have major delays. i take you now to our map to show you exactly what we are talking about. you can see the major delay as you leave the parkway where we have the delays. 680 is the best way to get around this because normally the stretch away from the parkway up to highway 237 is seven miles per hour and it will take you 44 minutes. normally it is nine minutes. a fatal accident this morning along the san mateo, santa clara border, a ice deficit was killed after being hit by a car on a rut popular bicyclists. matt keller is in los altos. matt? two workers from the coroner arrived here in the past 20ent months to do their investigation. this area on the border of los

altos and palo alto is popular with bicyclists. we have seen several this morning the traffic has been an issue during the investigation. a lane in each direction has been block off. here is a look at scene from sky 7 h.d., the c.h.p. said that at 6:00 am a bw hick the bicyclist and the bicyclist died at the scene. but it appears he is in his early 30's. the driver stayed at the scene. investigators are trying to determine what happened and have this emergency for drivers and bicyclists. >> everyone understand, we have, just like the motorcycle, share the road with the bicyclists. also, the bicyclists have to pay attention to road signs and the vehicles and adhere to the rules. >> a c.h.p. officer gave the driver a breathalyzer test. alcohol was not a factor. c.h.p. said they will be here on

the scene for at least another hour. developing news in san francisco, police are trying to figure what led to a crash that last a jog are critically injured. this happened at the intersection of post and high streets at 5:30. the jog errand -- jogger ran the red light. the jogger is cooperating. investigators do not believe drug or alcohol were a factor. >> in sunnyvale firefighters are searching for the cause of a fire that partly collapsed the roof of a sushi restaurant. the two-alarm fire broke out at 6:30 this morning. no one was hurt. the road is back open now. >> israel held a news conference saying they are not going to employed an underwater pier on saturday of the old span of the
