cornell bernard joins us live from the scene. >> reporter: 16th street is still closed between south van ness and followsome straighted as firefighters keep a close watch on this fire which left this tire store totally destroyed. they are dousing hot spots. they say the fire still smoldering inside. 21 neighbors who live next door, now looking for a new place to live tonight. the fire left their home. red-tagged by the city. >> i was really scared. coming out and seeing big fires. explosions. what do they have inside the tire shop? >> reporter: witnesses say the fire was intense request quickly jump led to three alarms. more than 400 firefighters attacking the flames from all sides. fueled by burning tires. the thick black smoke could be seen for miles. early on the roof of the shop

the south and east. altogether, 41 minutes, written milpitas, expect a light shower. what we're waiting the second round of moisture. live doppler 7hd along with satellite, see this little spin in the atmosphere? that's he low pressure that will sink to the south and move over us tomorrow. right now, cool temperatures in the 50s across the board in all locations, fourthys overnight. the future weather, 1:00 tomorrow morning, an isolated shower but most areas are dry. that low pressure gets closer to us by 5:00 monday morning north bay turning better. by 7:00, the monday morning rush is underway, we'll be dotting some downpours across the landscape with the pops of yellow, increasing in conk and intensity by 10:00, and where you see the downpours, not out of the question to see an isolated thundershower develop

that could contain lightning and small hail. that's a possibility. by 1:00 in the afternoon, that low pressure is now moving out of the region and the showers will taper into the afternoon and evening hours. so, rainfall amounts, a quarter to half inch of rain. if a downpour sets up over one area, we could likely see more than a half inch of rain. it's for that fact that a flashflood watch has now been put into effect for tomorrow morning. the area that has the burn scars thanks to the earlier wildfires this year. so we could see some flooding in those areas quickly if we dea downpour. we also have a winter weather advisory in effect for the sierra through tuesday morning. watch as the cold storm drops fresh powder. nine inches in donner, lake level, generally looking at four to seven inches of snowfall. so, overnight tonight, the clouds are with us right now. we'll see the showers developing very lying in nature after
